Mel's Grill 2

Mel’s grill 2 is a great place for breakfast/lunch. You can never go wrong at either location.
The waitress staff and cooks are awesome and pleasant. Their menu has a lot of good food choices to choose from and everything is awesome.
The patrons that stop in are regulars, a lot of great conversations and friendship are created.

Great outdoor patio for dining under the sun or shade if you prefer an umbrella. There are many options for breakfast and lunch. The service was good, we had one main waitress but it seemed like a good team effort. Different waitresses came around to check on us and fill low coffee mugs to the top.
The food was good, one recommendation would be to make the hashbrowns more crispy. The avocado toast has runny egg, so beware if you don't like runny egg yolk.

You can always tell a place is good when all the customers are locals that come every day.
We were there in the early morning. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices s lot cheaper than expected. Food was fast, fresh and very well prepared and tasty.
Highly recommend if you're in the area.

There is no service like you get here. The food is cooked exactly how you ask, even when you order carry out it is perfect. The wait staff is extremely friendly, very service oriented and better than I’ve had at very expensive places. You would think you were paying big money for your meal, which you certainly are not. It’s reasonably priced and always awesome. I wish everywhere we went was like this.

I was driving through Clarkston for work and I stopped in for a cup of coffee, immediately I liked the atmosphere of the place. I stopped back in later for lunch and had a pleasant chat with Dawn, I witnessed one of the waitstaff have a conversation with a customer in sign language, and I had a delicious lunch (classic Reuben sandwich.) The next week I’m in the area again so I decided to stop back in and the server this time tells me about their weekly French toast special. Get this, whipped marshmallow cream cheese, peanut butter sauce, granola and Captain crunch crusted French toast. It was incredible, I could barely finish a half order (with sausage links of course,) and it didn’t even need syrup (although that would probably be good). Absolutely phenomenal.

Anyway, if you read this long I should probably stop wasting your time now. This place is awesome and I highly recommend it.

Always a excellent service & food!! The salted caramel deep fried french toast was awesome!!! Was expecting it to be too sweet, but it was perfect!! Southern omelet and a screaming eagle breakfast!! Perfect brunch!!!

It was a great first experience for me. My fiancée has been here many times over the years and she told me how good the food is. And after trying them for myself, I have to say she did not exaggerate one bit!

I generally go to Mel’s on Saturday or Sunday morning every weekend to get breakfast. Cannot say enough about the staff. They are super kind and friendly. Food order is always quick prices are good and everything always taste excellent. I always look forward to it on the weekend.

I just ate here for the first time ever. Ordered a western omelette, whole wheat toast and pancakes. Git coffe as well. They give you water to go with it without having to ask for it. The omelette seems short but it is thick with ingredients. The toast had just the right amount of butter. Not too dry or soaked. The pancakes are excellent. The servers are very friendly and kept my coffee full. I highly recommend Mel's Grill.

They have all elements of a great restaurant; great food, nice and friendly staff and very good price. Everything was cooked to perfection. I hadn't had a well cooked and crispy hash Brown in a while. Pancake was fluffy and delicious. The rest were also cooked well. Looks like they exactly know how long everything should exactly be cooked for the best outcome.
If I was closer to this place, I would go every weekend. I highly recommend this place.

This is by far my favorite lunch and breakfast place to eat. Food is fast, fresh and good. The service is top notch.

Love Mel's such a great place with great staff. I frequent both of the Mel's locations, and they never disappoint. Wonderful breakfast food and by far the best hash browns around.

Very small interior but they do offer outside seating at appropriate times. The food comes quick and hot seems made to order. Absolutely love this place. It is My wife and Is favorite breakfast place.

Their food is so good and well priced! I suggest the breakfast burrito and the rodeo burger! They're amazing every time!

Mel's Grill is an amazing find! We are so happy we stopped here for lunch. Even better they serve breakfast all day! Very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff too. It's a bit of a drive but we definitely will be back.
