KRB's Klingers Real Barbeque -Wautoma

After having driven by many times over the years on my way through the area, I finally stopped and was very glad I did. Has one of their Cranberry Mule special drinks (cranberry harvest week) at the bar before heading over to the food counter where I ordered a two meat, two side plate with smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage, burnt ends, corn bread and baked beans. Simply outstanding and will now be my go-to place for BBQ during the months they are open. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and the restaurant has a retro rustic country vibe to it. Highly recommended.

Group of four for a late lunch on a weekday. One of us was a vegetarian who was able to find more than enough to eat with the sides. The red potatoes were rated high by her. I followed the very friendly advice of the counter staff for pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans. Both were good. The beans are a meal unto themselves. The availability of sweet tea pleases one of our group. Two of our four got to go boxes as the food was plentiful. Bartender told me dog beer is best over dry dog food. People will spend anyone’s their pets.

first time visiting, very casual atmosphere, you can either dine in or take out. nice little seating inside or outside on patio. on the side of bldg, people wee playing corn hole, and they have live music which is adverized.
I ordered the brisket with mac n cheese and potato salad. my son ordered ribs, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was very good, he raved about the ribs, no bbq sauce, but a rub which we prefer. i had the brisket very tender and smokey.
we will be vack to try all variations.

Legit southern style barbecue and Texas brisket. I travel all over the USA including Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. This food rivals anything from the best BBQ places I have been to. Jalapeno grits! Brisket was moist and smoky. Pulled pork delicious and tender. They could use better condiments including onions, pickles and hotter sauces.

Popular place so we got there really early on a Saturday evening. When we left, lines were formed but they were moving quickly enough and had a lot of seating. You need to get your food yourself and find a table.
Everyone in my party was more than happy with their food and compared them to some of the best barbecue places in the county. I sampled everything as well and really liked chicken as well as the cornbread the best. The Mac and cheese was just so so.
Full disclosure: I got terrible food poisoning that night later on but no one else in my group did so can’t place specific blame.

Stopped here with a bunch of guys on an annual golf trip. Seriously the best BBQ place I've ever been too! The portions are huge, the prices are great and the food was unbelievably amazing! Several of us had the two meat two sides meal and it's enough food for two. I had the burnt ends as one of the choices and it was like eating BBQ candy! Melts in your mouth and delicious! I could keep going but will end by saying I told my wife we need to make a trip there just so she can see how great it is, and I'm sure we will be back several times Excellent place!

Great BBQ joint, very fast to be served. Had a Lynchburg lemonade pulled pork sandwich with potato salad my wife had the and Mac and cheese with brisket. They have a very nice outdoor section to eat.

They have made so many wonderful updates to the restaurant. The staff is amazing, and we love the brisket and Texas twinkies. The music during the summer is great as well. Wonderful atmosphere.

I've eaten Q from many a joint, and made a fair bit of it myself, low and slow. This place is the real deal. And it has a nice dining room and good service (not always the case) . They're smoking ribs and chicken throughout the day, so you'll be sure to get moist bones and yard bird come dinnertime. Mr. Klinger Jr. was kind enough to give us a tour of the operations too. He knows his stuff.

This is so delicious. Greens were yummy. The corn bread has literally corn in the corn bread. Very fresh. The brisket does have a bite more fat in it than I like. But, the meat was soooo good. Highly recommended.

We came later to avoid the crowd but turns out there was only one selection of meat left. With only one choice it was still that good! They really know how to accommodate everything, and they're outside patio is wonderful. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was really wonderful and the bartender made wonderful old fashioned cocktails. We will be going back! Thank you!

Wow! I’ve had the barbecue, which was some of the best I’ve had in the country, but the biscuits and gravy is the absolute best. Drinks, atmosphere, friendliness, and more are spot on. My only gripe is that they don’t have beds to take a nap post-feast! 😂

In the area today as the daughter recently moved to Wautoma, she recommended stopprng here. Worthwhile stop, had the brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and beans. We'll be stopping next time! Great food, fast service, and ample portions, as we have enough for another meal.

KRB's has very good barbecue. They have pulled pork, beef brisket, and some chicken. Three yummy barbecue sauces, and lots of side dishes for your meal. Their macaroni and cheese, jalapeno cheesy grits, bread pudding, and banana pudding are all wonderful. There is often music outside. There is a dog friendly outdoor dining area. Bathrooms are clean. The bar and bartenders are great. The drink specials are yummy and creative. Our Sundays special was a blueberry muel.
Parking is decent. I would and have recommended this restaurant to friends.

Had the brisket ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Sides were collard greens, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything was absolutely delicious. So glad i stopped in.

First time eating at KRB's. The ribs, brisket and sausage were all fantastic! The corn bread was terrific as well. We'll be back to try their other offerings. Generous portions, friendly staff, plenty of seating both indoors and outside.

Good BBQ Beef Brisquet Platter, sides were tasty, and you have to try Mike's Root Beer made in Steven's Point and sold at KRB. Worth the stop.

This is the place to go to if you want amazing food and atmosphere. Always a stop if we are going through Wautoma.

We came here for dinner on Father's Day weekend with two families. My husband's extended family has owned a cottage in Neshkoro for 30 years so we were all pretty excited when a new restaurant opened, especially a BBQ place.
The atmosphere is really nice, they have indoor and outdoor seating and a ton of different types of seating options (from bar stools to picnic tables).
The food was fantastic! We are all really into smoking meat and pretty picky about our BBQ and it was amazing! We absolutely loved the brisket mac n cheese and the pulled pork. They were out of a lot of food by the time we got there but everything we had we loved!!
