Lyback's Ice Fishing

Lybacks is a great place to escape for the weekend. My kids love spending the weekend on the lake. The lake has been so clear, you can watch the fish eat your bait while you fish.

The lybacks are amazing folk! Storing my ice castle up here! Super excited for the season to start!

Good roads, advice. They give you an actual lake map with roads instead of a child's drawing

It's the best place, IMO, on the lake, for family fishing. The office has moved to the restored barn. There is also a 3-bedroom lakeside home for rent by the week; another may be available in 2024. The restored barn was converted into an office, eating area, and bathrooms with showers. Don't forget about the pizzas!

Owners and employees are warm and welcoming, they are very informative and kept me up to date on the fishing report, the conditions of the roads, and the ice ridges. Prices are very reasonable, fish houses are clean and tidy and was all set up so we could get right to fishing! We caught a few walleyes, perch and even seen a few pike passing through! Turns out they rent their main house on the lake in the summer months too! We will definitely be back soon! A++

Eddy, Cindy and their crew work very hard to get their ice roads opened and do an awesome job at it too!! Friendly! Nothing better than sitting in our Ice Cabin, fishing!! We have been in their rentals, which was fantastic!!!

Definitely worth checking out. Everyone was friendly helpful and very professional. This was my first time on Mille lacs lake and I’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks guys for pulling us out of the snow bank. And putting us on a honey hole. I didn’t get any sleep cuz my rattle reel went of every 20 minutes. I hooked up at least a dozen times, landed 6 walleye.. I will definitely be back next ice season. Loved this place.

Just wanted to say as a first time ice fisher Lybacks was stellar⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable clean lodgings , great spacing of houses & incredible staff . I had such a wonderful experience & recommend highly. Pristine area & gorgeous views & we caught a lot of perch & great sized Walleyes. Seriously you cannot do better than this place. Will be recommending it to all my family & friends.

Very friendly. Nice proprietors who seem to care about the people they are serving. We used their access and they were very informative. Good reputation from friends who had used them previously. Will be back. Hopefully this weekend. Nice thing is they will be straight forward with you about the bite as well even if it is not hot.

Eddie and Cindy are two great people. Had trouble with my boat trailer in July. Had to leave my boat in Minnesota. I Live in Missouri. I didn't get to return till
September. My trailer was repaired in July. (No storage fee,
And kept my boat inside). Even charged my batteries so I wouldn't lose a day of fishing.
Rented a 3 bedroom house of theirs. Right on the lake. My boat was waiting for me at the house. batteries on charge. The house had everything. Cindy made sure it was clean set the temperature on the furnace. Went over everything with us.

I got a rental Jan 5 2019 from 7pm -7am at Lybacks for the first time. Great customer service and information given.. With in the first 20 minutes I had already hooked up a walleye and perch fishing was good through out the night... The rental was clean and heat was awesome through out the night & a bathroom 10 ft away!! Ill definitely returning to Lybacks this month and future.

We had a great time fishing out of Eddys over the weekend. Wonderful service and nice clean ice house for the night. Had good action in Jack of Diamonds including a 26" walleye at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Thanks Eddy!

Always the best place to be in Isle, Minnesota. We Love Eddy and Cindy so much. They are the best Hosts. We've been staying there for years. Always fun to come home.

Clean,warm and great peaple. Caught nine walley 4 under slot 5 over up to 27" that was just 1 day. Again we like eaters but thats ok we caught fish and had fun. We fish alot and you dont catch fish everytime.

Was up for a tournament. What a great place, the roads were plowed, the crew was working hard to get houses off the lake, and notify anglers of the incoming storm. Great group!

The only resort I use. Eddy is old school and tells you how it is and that is great. Always quiet and good roads.

Eddy Lyback is from my point of view the absolute benchmark of what an ice fishing expierince is all about. While he can’t make the fish bite he tries as hard as anyone I’ve met to give people their best chance at getting that chance to catch.
