We had a family dinner there and we're overall happy with our experience. It was very busy when we arrived. Waited a little bit for the table to be ready, and for drinks. Food took about an hour to be sent to the tables, salads came a bit sooner, and rolls a little after. Great Blue cheese !! Like one of the best I have ever had! My son ordered a burger and loved it. My wife got a prime rib, came out a little to raw, my other families steaks were a little to raw as well. They were very kind and fixed it. They even gave us a slice of cheese cake 🎂

Gave them only 2 hours to prepare for a larger group, and they did a phenomenal job! Our server was very pleasant and had a beautiful smile. She checked up on us frequently, and made sure no cup was empty. Even the cook came to check on us after we ate everything-such a warm family environment. Every single person loved their food! From French dip, to walleye, broasted chicken and some burgers. All the food came out hot and in a timely matter. Can't wait to come back!

Northwoods Steakhouse has possibly the best herb crusted prime rib I've ever eaten. It's only offered on the weekend, but it's entirely worth it. My dining partner had the walleye and loved it.
Friendly, attentive staff and a cute cabin atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Love that the cook is passionate about his job. He had a fun way of making me want to order the burger special he talked it up and it did not disappoint. It was a huge juicy burger. Waitress was great comming to check on our table several times to see if we wanted anything else. It was my first time here an the staff enjoying what they do made the experience even better

What a cool place!
This was our first visit and we're happy to say, it won't be our last.
We wanted the prime rib, but it was running late getting done, so I had the Walleye and my husband had the Lemon Pepper Cod, both were really good and the portions were huge (we had enough fish leftover to make fish sandwiches for lunch the next day).
We will be going back to try the prime rib.
The service was really good and everyone was very friendly.

9/29/23 just returned from dinner here. Party of 6. Our waitress was phenomenal! Food was prompt and served hot. She kept coming to table to make sure everything g was okay. I believe it was the bartender came over and chatted and made for a very welcoming experience. We will be back.

The food was so delicious! The "dirty curds" were a tasty take vs tradition cheese curds, and the corkeys chicken sandwich was perfect. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Couldn't ask for more from a restaurant.

Had Cajun Shrimp Ceasar special tonight. The shrimp were the "super" stars. I will eat those Cajun shrimp on anything. Great job!!

Our steaks were very tasty, and tender. Young lady that was our server was the best. Totally recommend the "Dirty cheese curds", nice kick with the dry rub.

We stopped in after a long day of doing inventory at 1865 gas station/Convenience store/liquor store to have dinner! It was Great most of ordered Steaks and they were done perfectly and nice open layout!😜

Bartender and service was Amazing! Great drinks and friendly staff. Our Bartender is awesome!

Had a great lunch at Northwoods Steakhouse today! The house-smoked corned beef makes their Reuben one of the best I've ever experienced. The new owners are a hard working couple with a crew that is equally dedicated to a fantastic time. Worth going for sure! Calling ahead is helpful, especially if you have more than four in your party. I'm having the house-smoked pulled pork sandwich next time.

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Nice environment lots of beautiful Christmas decorations. Our server was so extremely kind and attentive and the food was great.

Been to Northwoods several times and haven't been disappointed yet! Great food, good prices and the owners are great people!

What a warm and fun place to eat!! Our 1st time here! And Santa happened to be here with cookies, hot coca, a coloring station and a snowflake station❤❤

What a hidden gem! Everything from the dirty cheese curds to the soup de jure, to the incredible broasted chicken was perfect. I drove an hour to get here and it was worth every second. I will definitely be coming back here!

I had the special which was a grilled salmon salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly and all of the ingredients in the salad went very well together along with a tangy vinaigrette. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Great owners and super cordial to new patrons. The food and service was excellent . It's a country roadhouse but comfortable for all, families too. Do not just drive by, you'll miss a great place!@
