Swimming pool is very clean and nice and Morning breakfast is also good stay first time but good service

My wife and I had a wedding block there and were so glad to stay at the GrandStay in Parkers Prairie. The staff was very nice and eager to help anytime. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a fantastic hot tub and an indoor pool, and the price was quite fair. Recommend this hotel to everyone because you will definitely feel refreshed after staying here.

A small language barrier with the staff, but friendly beyond belief. VERY clean facility, and the breakfast was perfect for the price and accommodations. I've stayed in a lot worse for a lot more! I would highly recommend calling the motel directly and making your reservation. I called one of the booking agents first. They said there was only one room left and the price was $40.00 more than the actual price I paid by booking my room directly. Don't be scammed and lied to by a booking agent. Lesson learned for me. I will definitely be back with my kids this winter just to get away on a cold blustery winter day to enjoy the pool.

One of the other reviews I read talked about booking issues and mixed communication with the staff. The first number I called two days before I booked my room dialed a booking agent in a different state that claimed there was only one room available. Then they tried booking me at a different motel! Be sure you and your friends are call this motel directly and dealing only with the staff here. There was way more rooms available with more options than what the booking agent claimed, and at a lower price too.

I have stated here once before and that stay was good too. The front desk clerk was nice, not overly friendly but more shy and it was also just before midnight when I checked in. Rooms are what yous expect, clean, basic layout, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is good. Dispatch not use then pool but I see they charge a fee for 1 hour of swim time now, not sure why that is..

We booked online, last August after staying with family that July for a fishing trip. We were concerned because of reviews before arriving but were happy to find our rates as promised and only a few small changes since our stay last summer. The rooms and pool are clean, staff is friendly, grill with patio furniture in the back, with ample parking even for boats on trailers - definitely meets our expectations and needs for a lake retreat with extended family.

We spend a week at this hotel every summer since the GrandStay Hotel opened in Parker’s Prairie over 10 years ago. They have recently went through new ownership and management. The new managers live onsite and are very kind and accommodating. You will see them always cleaning and trying very hard to maintain and keep the hotel looking beautiful. They are hard workers.

After a 9 hour drive, we were tired. Priceline messed up our reservation and never sent the hotel confirmation. After arguing with Priceline on the phone, nothing was resolved, so the hotel made accommodations for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Great staff that took great care of my family, which means a lot to a tired dad that had been driving all day.

We've been staying here for the past 6 or 7 years. Awesome service. Great owners. Hope they can maintain such a large facility

My husband and I were visiting a relative nearby and we were so glad to find rest at the GrandStay in Parkers Prairie! The room was clean and comfortable. The price was so reasonable considering it included a wonderful hot tub. We had a warm, delicious breakfast included in the price too. Recommend this hotel to all as it's a definite guarantee you'll be rejuvenated after a stay here!

Very nice hotel located in quiet town outside of the hustle & bustle of the busy Alexandria area! It was so quiet in our room each night. The best thing for us was that they are dog friendly. We had an awesome newly updated king suite which was very, very nice. Love that they offer a breakfast, very nice staff and affordable!! We will visit here again in the future!

Very accommodating of our cats. I would have said they were well behaved before this stay! Nice, small town location convenient to fun attractions, including 22 Northmen brewery and several wineries. Local pub Doghouse had great food and service, needs more craft beer. Town drunks very friendly and engaging!

Was looking for a hotel last minute, found this one for $59 and figured it would be gross, but needed a room... to my surprise it was a VERY nice place! Very Clean, modern, no smell and the customer service is awesome! One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in in a long time! And $59!!!

Next morning update: bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the shampoo, conditioner and body soap are bath and body works!

I contacted the local gym to see if I could get a one day pass to work out, come to find out, guests at the hotel can use the gym for free! The gym was nice. Weight equipment was nice, cardio equipment was a little dated but it worked for what I needed.

I feel like I found a little slice of heaven here! Easily over $100 room and it was $59!!

We had a great experience at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, and the mattresses were better than most 4/5 star hotels I have stayed at. I am often weary of cleanliness in 2 star hotels, so I entered my stay with hesitation. However, this homey hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub were a great addition to my stay. The breakfast was great, and had a variety of options. Additionally, hotel employee Shelby was very gracious and accommodating. She provided great service, and made me feel at home. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent clean rooms. Have stayed here many, many times. Wish they would leave the pool and hot tub open later than 9 pm. But will stay again and again.

I bought a Groupon for this hotel and thought it'd be a fun long weekend getaway. And it sure was. Nothing fancy but everything was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool again isn't fancy but a nice size and actually warm along with a nice hot tub. We spent some time at Lake Carlos State Park which was pretty close to here too.

Quaint hotel on the outskirts of Alexandria. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and roomy. Because it's a smaller hotel, they do not have a workout room but that was not a problem since they had a very large pool and hot tub as well. The town is small so there were no restaurants in the area but one of the hotel employees told us about a great restaurant in the next town where she worked at night. So we went there and it was great!!

Definitely an amazing hotel to be at whether it's for swimming and fun or staying a night, very clean, very neat, very courteous staff. Beautiful rooms and a wonderful pool and hot tub! Also the dining room for the continental breakfast is absolutely amazing!! Highly highly recommend. Also big perk, very kid friendly!!!!

The Staff is very friendly, The Morning manager is very accomundating and proffessional.
I've stayed in a bunch of big City Hotels , that don't do as good of a job as this place does.
The Staff is short handed and overworked. But they always share a positive attitude and a smile.
They even call me by name.
I would Highly recommend staying here if your in the area.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful! The small town location was very quaint, and we were close to the Lake Carlos area that we enjoyed during our stay. We also enjoyed the little brewery and food truck right next door!!

This is a clean, modern hotel at a good price. Rooms have all your basic needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with some warm choices. Good value.
