This was only our 2nd time at Rocket liquor and we love it! The owners are local and a family gig. While you might save 10 percent at the bigger store you are supporting a small business here with very nice staff. The selection is really surprising for an independent liquor store! Highly recommended!

Arriving at Rocket Liquors is a real treat, knowing that when I go inside there a bottle of Jameson whisky with my name on it. I’ve been coming here for a while so the person I regularly see cashiering is Mike. Mike is a friendly representative here and knows me by name. If there is something new that just came to the store, he knows I’m pretty much ready to try about anything. Here you can find just about all your favorite brands of Beer, Wine and liquor. Just depends what your in the mood for. You can find this corner store off of Chestnut Street in Virginia MN. The owners of Rocket Liquor are local, and I love to support small businesses when I can in general so I’m happy with the service that I get so I continue to buy from them and encourage anyone to do the same. While your inside it may be small to maneuver around but they have a large selection of items. It’s well lit and clean. If it’s a Friday night and you need a little liquid encourage I’m sure Mike can lead you in the right direction of what you will need. This place was rad. Younger dude, maybe in his 20s, was super helpful, friendly, and informative. How could he be informative in a liquor store, I would be asking myself: when I asked, he told me about the giant power and light (I might not fully recall), building across the street, and how the town was heated with steam and more. Super cool and historic. He helped me find all of the things I needed, and more. Helpful note: their parking is under the eve right in front of the door, so you park steps away...I wasn't confident so I parked across the street.

Always friendly and great willingness to help. And if there is something new that you might like(because they know their customers), they let you. They even get you a sample to try.

.. pretty damn fine professional sales team. They have everything from your cheapest nastiest Steel Reserve to your finest Wines and top-shelf Liquors and they give you free ice with every purchase,FREE ICE! It's a good place on a good location. And the prices are reasonable.

Very nice neat clean store everything you want is easy to find they even have mixers and Chasers soda you have an awesome staff they're helpful and funny and make you feel like part of the family I love going to this place you just get treated right.

Very conveniently located, allowing you to drive right up under a shelter (from the snow/rain) and pickup a bottle of wine or whatever you fancy in record time! Usually like 2-3 minutes if you know what you want.
