Yellow River Gardens

I've been shopping here since they opened!! Love this place, love these people!!! The biggest reason is, not just that there is such a HUGE variety of plants BUT , that they are so knowledgeable!!! I would live there!!!!!!

YRG is my favorite greenhouse! They have a little bit of everything! Annuals, perennials, trees, scrubs, fruits, vegetables, herbs and yard decorations. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is unbelievable! Great selection, new varieties, and the plants are well tended and very healthy. Lot's of greenhouse rooms, so plan on taking an hour or more to really walk through the areas. Lot's of outdoor displays, complete with all sorts of items (especially) for your outdoor gardens. They also have a good selection of trees to purchase. A definite go-to during the growing season.

They have such a beautiful array of metal and glass garden art and bird feeders. From fine art to unusual and one of a kind rustic yard art. Oh yes, and plants galore!

I have bought fruit trees 2 years in a row with good luck. Priced on the upper edge but still reasonable. My thing is finding the variety I am looking for and they have a very good selection. Will be heading there again soon for another plum or cherry tree.

Linda and Jim have a beautiful garden business, they have lots to choose from in special plants and outdoor decor. If you love sedum , they have a nice selection to choose from, as well a hardy perennials in large pots. In the early spring we enjoy the annuals, they have so many too choose from, that makes the drive easy, it is one stop shopping when you need to fill many outdoor pots.What makes this place special to us is Linda and Jim try to offer new plants and garden decor, even fountains each year, we are always surprised by what we find. We have enjoyed going to this wonderful garden center for over 20 years, you will too, every year going to see whats new, is a joy.

They were closed for the day when we arrived. Jim was still there working, though. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us around and answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back for all my future gardening and landscaping needs!

I love this place!!! If you're looking for high quality, well kept flowers and plants, this place can't be beaten. Oh, and did I mention about the employees? They are all knowledgable, helpful and friendly!

Good place to buy yard art and lots of flowers and shrubs

Wow to the selection.... almost too many choices... very unique decorations ranging from flowerpot figurines to a 7 foot tall dragon or gnome.

We used many plants from Yellow River Gardens when we did a Shoreland Restoration project several years ago at our lakeshore cabin on Spooner Lake. They were incredibly knowledgeable about appropriate Wisconsin native plants and which species to plant both on the shore and in the shallow water of the riparian zone. The plants all thrived without any special care, as would be expected from species native to Northern Wisconsin. In short, they are savvy about what grows well in Wisconsin and stock all the right species of native plants we wanted.

Beautiful place..love all the garden decorations..friendly people...was my first time, and will definitely go back..
