My dad did all the beautiful woodwork inside Quacks when he was a young man. It warms my heart to sit at a table with my parents while my dad reminisces about the work he did sooo many years ago. I hope it will always remain there as a continued reminder of my dad's many beautiful talents.

Had Breakfast sandwiches.
Bagel egg n cheese
And Bacon egg cheese..
Nice quick stop.
Very polite staff
Lots of history in the place.
Unfortunately it's closing, new ownership has kept staff in the dark..

My wife and I have been going there for years. Great food and wonderful waitresses and waiters that treat you like family as it's a family owned restaurant for many years. Joan is a real Sweetheart who is pretty busy in the kitchen will take the time to say hi to people when she steps in the dinning room. All around great place to go to eat. Don't forget about dessert if you have room or maybe just get it to go 😉.

Outstanding! Not only was the food excellent, the service was really great and the place was very clean. It was so good we went back two days in a row. Both experiences were equally fantastic. Having grown up in a restaurant I can't help but be a bit critical of things like cleanliness and food quality, and this place was aces.

Good food, homemade and from scratch cooking. The breakfast is amazing and you can't go wrong with the pies!

Tried the haddock today, it was great!

My Sister In Law and I took a Route 20 Road Trip today, October 10, 2020. On our way back home, we stopped at Quak's, and were happy we did. Clean, Pleasant Servers, Charming Decor, and Great Food!! I would travel from home (over an hour) to eat there again.
A great experience, for two tired travelers.

I brought a friend here to see try the diner my family would go to when I was a kid. The last time I was at Quacks was about 25 years ago. The scent walking in brought me right back to my childhood. It was a great evening, good food, excellent service. If you like the old time diners this is a place worth checking out.

I was in town for Antique Week and went to Quack's almost every day for the BEST breakfast ever! You can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu, I even loved the toast!
I went one night for dinner, they have specials, and got the pot roast. It was really delicious 🤤
What I really like the best, the staff is soooo friendly and attentive. The owner even cooks! If you ever find yourself on Rt 20 in Madison, I highly recommend stopping in.
If I was forced to find something wrong, it would be the counter stools are too high for my short legs 😀
Thanks Quack's, I will be back!

It may look a little rundown. Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal! She was the only one working. As we sat eating our food we watched as more and more people started to arrive, and just kept thinking to ourself how we wished we could have helped the waitress. The food was also phenomenal for a really great price as well. I highly recommend if you're in the area to stop by.

Our first time here. The fish and chips were very good. Great portion sizes, had leftovers to take home. BF had a burger that he loved, fries were great and service was also wonderful. We would not hesitate to stop in again.

We liked this restaurant. It is on route 20 and has been in business for many years.
Staff was very friendly. The menu has many choices. We had the Quack's Quickie. It was 2 beef patties open face on white bread with gravy and onions. Delicious!
There were many beverage and dessert choices also. I had the Arnold Palmer.

Had a buffet style luchen for a group. The food was good, as was the service and atmosphere. The price was reasonable.

Quacks has always been a family favorite. The waitresses are friend, the food is great, and it is very well managed. The owner, Joan Oliver keeps everything in tip top shape, clean and we'll presented. It's the perfect stop for East West travellers on Route 20, in the heart of Central New York's antiques capital. I used to go there after school for sodas and fries before practice with my best friend. Great place to create memories!p
