Lezama's Restaurant & Pizzeria

I have been coming to this pizzeria since I was a kid when it was Freddie’s. Naturally when I came home to visit I had to go for the nostalgia. The pizza was thin crust and delicious! Ordered both a thin Sicilian and regular pie, along with the seared scallops. We were a large group and was able to taste a few dishes which were all fantastic! I highly recommend you give it a try.

Incredible! We got all this - and two desserts - for $60 or so. It's hard to tell, but that's a 14 inch sub for perspective about how big the rest was! This feed three people well for two whole meals. The calzone was delicious. The cheese steak was one of the best I've had and the bread was so fresh. And the thin crust pizza was surprisingly delicious! The server brought us breadsticks during our wait. Can't wait to be back next time we head to the shore!

I am a new-ish Long Branch resident and Lezamas was one of the first pizza places I went to since moving here. Since then, I have tried several other local pizzerias and I have found that Lezama’s is my favorite. Their seafood is also absolutely delicious. I have ordered takeout many times, and have never had a bad experience. I also like to dine in, since it is BYOB and their complementary bread is delish!

Only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because we always pick up or use delivery, so that may not be fair. Always looks clean. Great pizza! The food shows they really pay attention to detail. Every slice is consistent. Toppings are distributed perfectly evenly. You have to try the big pie. It will never disappoint.

A classic downtown pizzeria with probably one of the best Margarita Pizza I've ever had. We went there recently for dinner on a Sunday night after a beach outing nearby. The ambience is welcoming and they have seating space for may be about 30-40 people. Not too big but spacious enough to enjoy a nice dinner. The margarita pizza that we ate was really flavorful with bursting flavors of fresh tomato sauce with basil and of course mozzarella cheese. The crust was just perfect too. Our server Carolina was super busy but had a smile on her face at all times.

I would say, this place is worth a visit even if you are not that close.

Lezama gets 5 stars because of more than one reason. Years ago this building was Freddy’s and they were one of the places my parents grew up on. They are definitely up to par if not better than Freddy’s. Back to my parents, they are frequent customers of Lezama. We have never really had anything negative to say and would recommend the grandma and the breaded chicken parm pizzas. They have never made a pie we disliked. Today 6/17 we had a miscommunication and we ended up with a cheese Stromboli instead of a chicken parm. I called and explained that my parents were regulars and very hard customers to please, so if they’re regulars you’re doing something right. They had us come back and pick up a chicken parm Stromboli, but when I got home, my dad had devoured the cheese Stromboli XD. Do yourself a favor and order from this place if you live in Long Branch, or visit the shore this summer.

On Saturday 2/1/2020 we had a large group of 20 + people and the management was accommodating to our reservations. EVERYONE had a perfect dish and the service was flawless! We will be back and we can’t wait.

Great place, loved the he food! The decor is simple, clean and tasteful! From the shiny wood floor to the black booths and the white tables, everything was spotless!! Service was excellent and the server was noticeably polite! We where greeted with freshly baked bread sticks and marinara sauce which is absolutely great when you first sit at a restaurant hungry while looking at the menu! Calamari was well seasoned, tasted fresh and not heavily breaded for a fraction of what other restaurants charge! We ordered a grandma pie (thin crust) and it was actually very good. Crispy but not too crispy, well balanced sauce and right amount of cheese. We are going back to try more! Good job!

My husband and I tried their plain pizza a few weeks ago and were so impressed- best plain slice in the area for sure. Today we ordered a Grandma Thin Crust Square pie and it was so delicious! Great sauce, good amount of cheese, perfect crust. Great chicken wings, too! We enjoyed every bite and will be returning! We highly recommend that you check them out!

One of the best pizza experiences ever. Period. Pasta was delish and a generous amount of meatballs. All in very humble but elegant setting with genuinely warm service. I felt like a regular on my first visit. I will definitely go way out of my way to go back 😍

I had a small issue with my order that didnt arrive correctly last week. I spoke to Alex the manager the next day. I just wanted him to be aware of the mix up, the food was delicious just the same. But he insisted on making it right and he did just that!! He went above and beyond to make me happy and he did . I ordered the chicken and shrimp pesto today, It was outstanding!! The calamari was prepared to perfection . I also ordered a gourmet pizza for friends coming over and that too was excellent. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is outstanding. Alex personally delivered it to my home!!. I cant say enough about such wonderful food and service. The prices are more than fair!! You definitely get more food for the money!!Exceptional food and menu!!

I enjoy your Italian subs quite a bit, probably going to order one right now, always feels like a bang for my buck because of the fries you give. Which are usually crispy and good most of the time but they're crinkle cut so I'm not knocking you.

I'll have to try some other stuff soon, I'm just addicted to Italian subs. Ily

The best, most consistent Italian food in the area, and it's not even close.

No matter what we order of the menu, it comes out exactly as you would expect for a GOOD italian restaurant. Entrees in particular are always excellent. And if you find a dish you like, you're in luck because it'll be prepared exactly the same every time you order it. It's unbelievable that a place could be this consistent while maintaining such high quality. The staff is super nice too, the person answering the phone is always very patient, pleasant, and easy to order with.

We had a group of 8 with many different dietary preferences and needs, including 3 kids. Every one of us was able to find something on the menu that we liked. The food was fresh and tasty and the prices were very reasonable. On top of this, the staff was very friendly and even gave us special treats. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Best pizza in long branch by far! Took my family here looking for an easy Italian meal and will be back many times. The thin crust grandma was phenomenal!

Saturday dinner; small cheese pie as an appy…..delicious
Shrimp Francese over angel hair and chicken Marsala over angel hair.
The shrimp were fresh, cooked perfectly and the sauce was on target. The Marsala had prosciutto in the sauce which made for a very tasty dish. Tonight we ordering pizza and salad to eat watching football. LEZAMAS, our new favorite in town. 5 star +

Stopped by on a whim, and this quickly became our new pizza place! Their thin crust is amazing. The garlic sticks has a ton of actual garlic on it too, which I love.

This place used to be Freddie's. It has changed management a couple of times. This management team has it together! I can't vouch for their pizza, but everyone in our party had a different entree and we were all satisfied with our meals. The food was great, prices affordable, and wait staff was on top of it. Lezama's will be a go-to when I'm in Long Branch!
