Went there for 2 pm ra ce June 30, 2023, at the Dining Terrace Restaurant. Both Ladies Room toilets on the 3rd floor were full and toilets would not flush. It was disgusting. There was no running water in the Ladies bathrooms.
THE ONLY FUNCTIONING BATHROOM was 2 escalator rides .
down. Seems this was a health issue and should have been reported.. Help is hard to find, but it is inexcusable to open if you have no running water and toilets aren't emptied.

The lunch menu was aound $32 p/p with a limited menu. Other options were available for an additional charge.

The host bent over backwards for the diners, as he has done for 30 years. Our waitress with blonde hair in a pony tail was delightful and accommodating.

Monmouth Track Racing is such a fun day, it was horrible to see how disgusting it was.

Love having afternoon races especially. Praying that it will improve and continue to be a fun day with a better selection of food and more reasonable prices.

On August 7, 2021 went to dining room to share time with friends who we have not been able to see in two years. We thought this would be a great place to enjoy races and, we believed, good food. Well, was I wrong!!! First we were told we really should have had reservations but someone might be able to help. A gentleman "found" us a table by the window and let us know the price of entrance and meal included all we could eat and drink. The restaurant never filled up, so many empty tables. The food at the buffet was awful. To add insult to injury, they kept running out of food. Other than the pork roast, the additional choices were frozen foods that we can all purchase in bulk and serve at a backyard party. Maybe we could do better! In fact, I am sure we could! When close to ready to leave, we were informed that the drink bill was on the way!!! That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I asked to speak to someone in charge. Poor Samantha got stuck. She was not overly surprised to hear about the poor food and lack of it. After back and forth discussions, she did give us a voucher for our drinks. She was not able to compensate us for the meal or any portion of it.
Did I mention, our tables were not cleared the entire time we were there? Many people were going to the trash area to do this.
I understand these are tough times for our restaurants, etc., but don't open an establishment and charge a hefty sum ($43.00 pp ...this included the 18% seating charge), and serve poor food, not tell the truth to patrons, and expect us to leave not being upset.
Please, don't waste your money. This once wonderful dining experience, is sad

I arrived on June 12 with my family of 8 looking to enjoy fun & good food. At $35.00 per person plus tax & gratuities. The food was very disappointing with a very limited choice of low end items. Hamburgers hot dogs Mac & cheese. There was grisly. prime rib which couldn’t be cut with plastic utensils salad n fruit. They brought out 1 pie for dessert & 1 cheesecake if you were fast enough you might have gotten a slice. Coffee was horrible!! Now onto the service or there lack of!! The food servers were disinterested. We had to track down someone for drinks. A couple of times we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks.
We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday & we were very disappointed in the whole event. Would have had a better time sitting on the bench downstairs. I would NOT recommend this particular venue!!
