This is a family run business, my friend and I refinished my hardwood floors. We really had no clue what we were doing, the staff is amazing and patient with all of our questions and phone calls. My floor turned amazing.

I really like this place! I came for Benjamin Moore paint and bought also t- shirts 👚 for painting (with Moore emblem on it). Staff were nice and helped me to bring paint to my car 🚗 I will come again for sure!!

I went to a big box store for a spring to repair a dual-option button, to my surprise they have a two sizes only and not what I need. The associate was nice and suggested me visit local plumbing supply stores for it (He was nice and helped me identify one and I am grateful for the help.). I went to the plumbing supply store, the associate told me they do not have the part and I may try a hardware store. I asked for any recommended hardware store around. He told me the only one he know around is the good Manalapan Hardware. The associate is very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed me springs selection and told me there is no match, but help pick out a reasonable usable size as substitute. I highly recommend Manalapan Hardware at Yorktown Plaza on Gordon's Corner Road, and certain will revisit and buy from them. Support our local hardware store.

The guys who work there are great at helping you find what you need so you can be in and out of the store in a timely manner which is really nice when you just want to get your project done. They also sell paint and you can get it quickly as well. They have probably every tool you would need for your household projects.

Almost everything you need in a well organized but small place.
Staff is very helpful.
I prefer going here instead of HD or Lowes.

Went here about a week ago and I have to say, they have alot of items! I purchased a tin of paint for my home and the gentlemen there was helpful with questions I had about texture and coverage, with that being said I went with purchasing a total of 15 gallons for my entire home. They actually assisted me with a dolly to load up my truck with the paint, the lady gave me a bunch of stirrers ( which I forgot to ask for) and I was on my way. Like I said, for a local place with this type of knowledge I will definitely be back for my supplies.

You go into Home Depot and you have to look around for an associate, hope somebody is around to help you and there’s not three other people waiting for them to answer questions. You go into Manalapan hardware and within seconds somebody ask if you need any help.

They are the only place close by that sells Benjamin Moore paint and they are very happy to help you color match or search for the right color, I had to go in several times for several different rooms on a renovation and each time the woman really put in effort to help me get a good color that didn’t clash with my kitchen cabinets or bathroom vanity.

Not to mention I didn’t need to even ask for help carrying out gallons of paint while maneuvering my son and the stroller. All three times I went in, and employee walked out with me with the paint, I never even needed to ask for assistance.

I don’t care that the paint cost a little more than Home Depot, the quality is much better, and their customer service is amazing. I hope this place never runs out of business .

Helpful staff and a great local hardware store

Excellent local hardware store. I needed some paint samples and it was very easy to get them made in no time. They had paint sample supplies as well like little rollers to test them with. Highly recommend.

These guys are knowledgeable courteous and friendly I wish they had more places like this still around but home Depot and Lowes are swallowing them up..but if you really want good advice and products I recommend manalapan hardware

An excellently stocked, managed & run old-time family owned & operated hardware store. Not only can & will they answer all of your questions, they'll also give you alternatives as well as reasons why. Going there is always a learning experience.
