Romeo's Pizza Hazlet Union Avenue

For me pizza is a lot to do with the sauce. And their sauce is amazing. The bottom of the crust was just a little crunchy it was so delicious. I've been getting their pizza for years sometimes I take a break from pizza but I'm back! 😊

Awesome pizza place, friendly owner and phenomenal food. First impression knocked it out of the park for me, keep up the great work guys

I have been a customer at Romeos since I was a teenager. Food, Staff and Service is always top notch. I feel like I'm walking into my kitchen for a slice and a Coke! Everything is great! From Hot Sandwiches to Pizza!

I am from North Jersey by giant stadium. There are tons of amazing pizza places and I’ve been around this area for 2 years, couldn’t find anything close. I
found this place a month or two ago and it’s fn fantastic! Pizza is always amazing and today got a breaded chicken calzone small size but it’s a good size and it’s also delicious as hell.
Forget diets!

Been coming here for so many years...I love coming in and having a couple of slices, sometimes may watch a soccer game here with the guys whenever Italy is on the world stage...

I've reviewed several pizza places over the years. This is the place I judge all others by. I grew up in Hazlet and have been a customer or Romeo's for almost 50 years! How many restaurants do you know of run by the same people for that long? There's a reason they have that staying power. The pizza is great! They make great subs and Calzone also.

Simply beautiful, always top notch. Cheese has perfect texture and string factor. Crust not too thick not too thin and has perfect chew. Sauce to cheese ratio can not be beat! One of the best pies around!!!!

Great find. On the road and wanted to find a good pizzeria. Romeos fit the bill. Great pizza and cheese steak. Fries were cooked perfectly.

Romeo’s is part of the family. Back during covid one of our sons worked for them (full disclosure)and they treated him well. They also take super good care of us when we are back from a long trip and don’t feel like cooking or it’s a baseball night and we can’t even. Everything is yummy, sometimes they sneak in some garlic knots which is like very sweet of them. We have had pizza, sandwiches, dinners and it’s all fab. There’s other places to go for pizza- but don’t go there - always come here

It's an old school Pizza shop. No bells and whistles. But I tried the chicken parm sandwich and it was pretty banging. I'm very picky about my chicken perm. Everybody makes one, but not everybody makes one good. It was a very good sandwich if I'm in the area, I will definitely will try something else!

When you talk about cheese steaks, you say on a scale of 1- Romeos cheese steak, it's that good. Great pizza, great owners and a top notch pizzeria

Best chicken parm sandwich I've had in Hazlet!

Pizza was great. We had a large group and ordered 9 pizzas with various toppings. They were hot and ready on time.

Romeo’s is the best I’ve found since moving down here. It’s the perfect classic jersey pie that I expect and it’s always consistent. I also gave the cheesesteak a try and I was extremely happy with my decision on that.

I wait every year to go here! I'm on vacation and it's the best pizza ever!
