If you ever visit New Hampshire, I defined suggest you make a stop here. By far the best customer service in the area. There is no competition here. Bridgette and Amelia were the best! Food was great, desert was excellent. I got some great beers. I really enjoyed my visits here.

One of the better common man locations by a longshot. Great service and excellent food. Doesn't feel like they skimp on food and everything is delicious.

What a beautiful restaurant. Emily our server was phenomenal and Richard was a great manager. The dips and crackers and rolls were so good. As was my sangria. The steak tips and mashed potatoes were top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful atmosphere. Romantic place for a nice date. Friendly staff who were attentive. Manager walked around to check on guests which was nice. Nothing negative to say about the food. Would love to come back. There is an Inn on site so it can be a busy place. We found it tricky to find the main entrance to the restaurant and had to ask around for help. Would love to come back.

Fantastic old peg mill turn into a restaurant and INN. Our go to place to stop for dinner on our way down from the notches.

Incredible!!!!! Every thing was wonderful except the mac & cheese, and the server refunded us for it. She didn’t even need to do that but she did. And then as we were leaving my boyfriend wanted to buy some ice cream and the receptionist wasn’t there. But there was a Manager from the restaurant (shorter, white blonde with glasses) said she would cover it. I wish I got her name. THANK YOU SO MUCH WE HOPE TO COME BACK AND STAY AT THE INN! INCREDIBLE FREAKING SERVICE!!!🥹

Great food, good service, unique atmosphere. We had a group of four and everyone enjoyed their meal. Calamari appetizer was good. Staff took care of us pretty well. “Snowballs” dessert was large enough to share among 3ppl.
Couple forgivable mistakes: calamari was brought out w/o sauce and asked for no crispy onions on burger but was served with it.

Fosters Boiler room offers a big dining room and a great food experience. They have great choices of wine as well as a wine Wednesday with their bottles 50% off! Their steak tips are to die for and it was actually the only place in Plymouth that I could find mashed potatoes which are made in house as well as all their sauces. Practically all the food items are made in house from fresh ingredients. The staff is welcoming and they serve their wine with a touch. Get a bottle you’ll know what i’m talking about. Some friendly notable servers are Jessica and Conner. I will be back.

I had the opportunity to have lunch at Foster's on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server, Emily, was very friendly and equally professional. The food was excellent. The price was reasonable, overall a good value. I will definitely return.

The restaurant has a variety of dining areas on multiple levels. Must be a great workout for the wait staff! Plan ahead if someone has mobility issues - they don't take reservations for less than 6 people.

Our server was fantastic. The food was cooked perfectly. 5 people. 3 different specially different orders of the same food came out perfect. Other 2 orders were also perfect. The server didn't question our less than behaved registered service animal.

My wife and I number one stop for cocktails and appetizers seated at the bar, while enjoying the comfort and atmosphere of a rustic inn located in the vibrant college town of Plymouth NH. Like all of the Common Man family of restaurants, server’s, bartenders, hostesses, and of course FOOD, is exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit while staying at Waterville Valley.

Way more atmosphere than I would guess from the outside. Cool history and amazing creativity to convert this structure into a restaurant. Very cozy and quaint. We could talk without raising our voices. The food was delicious.

Such great atmosphere and historical photos and quotes on the walls... And the food was great! I had the fish and chips, and my husband had one of their steak dishes. Both were fantastic. Reuben fritters and snowballs were fascinating local dishes, too!

Great atmosphere, games at the table, and the all you can eat cheese and crackers is always a treat.

Get an espresso martini!

The POT PIE is heavenly! The crust is so buttery, crisp and pure. It is the best I've ever had. The cornbread stuffed chicken is equally as amazing! The asparagus is baked to perfection! I would fly back into town just for this meal.
