We went with our toddler and infant. Great trail and not too difficult. There are legs of steep inclines, but nothing too taxing. Views at the top are wonderful and pictures don't do justice.

Nice hike. The trails were clearly marked and was a beautiful view on the top. We also went up in the fire tower which labeled all the surrounding area. It said there was a bathroom which there wasn't one.

One of the less popular hikes in the area. 2h round trip with gentle slope and mainly covered path. Small parking at the base (10-12 cars) but usually 1-2 at any given time. The fire tower at the top can get quite windy but the views are worth it.

Pretty big parking lot with a turnaround in it. It's off a well-maintained, all-season road that is frequently plowed in winter. The parking lot was plowed when I went, as well. Come to the conifer emporium! See the fire tower on this well-marked, 2 mile round trip hike! It's part of the ADK firetower challenge and the Tupper Lake Triad.

Nice big lot. Room for probably 12 cars?? We were the only ones there so tough to get a sense of scale.

Really great trail for a quick up and down. (About a mile each way). There was plenty of parking at the trail head (which is just across the street from parking).

The trail was muddy, but not too bad. The trail was busy but not over crowded.

This is a great trail for little kids! My 2.5 year old hiked all the way up with little to no assistance! She also LOVED the fire tower at the top.

Highly recommend!

This is a good short hike culminating at a restored fire tower offering breathtaking views. Beware of slippery conditions due to mud in wet weather or ice during cold weather.

Such a great hike! Family-friendly with a very kind staff member at the top to answer questions, tell about the history of the fire tower, etc.

I would give this 10 if I could! Great short hike with a fire tower and benches to enjoy the view. Be sure to explore to find the benches once you get to the top. There aren't signs so you just have to follow the paths there's two. One by the fire tower and one right before it with a wooden building separating the two. Definitely will go back!

Short 2 mile hike. (1 mile each way) Great views from the open fire tower on top! Some views from the ground too, if you don't want to do the tower.

Trail register. Great views at the top. No restrooms or other facilities at the trailhead. Outhouse near the fire tower.

Fantastic hike. Rained the entire hike so the views weren't great, but will return.
