This is a very narrow winding creek with multiple beaver dams to cross. That being said. It's a fun and fascinating paddle. Well protected from the wind. If you love a paddle that puts nature front and center and the destination doesn't matter this is a great one. DEC states you can get 3 miles up stream before the creek becomes unnavigable. We made it about a mile and a half up stream and had to turn around due to time. Before we finished we also paddled down stream from the launch, under the bridge. We made it maybe a 1/4 mile before we hit a beaver dam with a 2 foot drop and decided that was the signal to call it a day.
