East Hill Creamery

I had my baby shower at the Chalet at East Hill Creamery and it was perfect! The space has great natural lighting, natural wood accents and string lights. I was looking for a simple and clean space and it was very easy to decorate! Working with Josh and Shelly(Old Souls Catering) was amazing! I can’t recommend them enough. Everything I needed and the whole event process was smooth and easy. Also the food was delicious. I highly recommend the macarons! I recommend for any event!

We got married at the East Hill Creamery in January of 2022. To say I was skeptical of the venue is an understatement, however, upon arrival I was blown away with the beautiful, natural wooden beams and the amount of space with ideal lighting. We had the crazy idea of serving pizza and wings for our reception. You know, cheese. This wasn't found on their menu, but now I don't understand why. It was one of the best tasting pizzas I have ever had, and the wings weren't shy from the same response. The staff was incredible, extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great time and everything went smoothly and to plan. Thank you all for a great experience and for all the memories.

The Chalet at East Hill Creamery is GORGEOUS! It's very spacious and has two levels with an elevator. There is also a full bar available at your request. As a family we decided to have our daughter's graduation party there to avoid any issues with the weather [July 2023]. Working with Josh Wolcott, Venue Manager & owner of Old Souls Catering [the in-house caterer] and Shelly Wolcott, Event Coordinator was nothing short of easy. Josh is very responsive to questions and requests. Shelly is right there when you need her during set-up. Very helpful and kind. Shelly is very good at seeing your vision and offering additional ideas to complete it. I would HIGHLY recommend The Chalet to anyone hosting any type of event - graduation, wedding, anniversary, birthday, work seminars, trainings, etc. to reach out to Josh.

What a wonderful place to shop for cheese. Cute, small and local spot. Make sure you check out the cheese caves! Most importantly, cheese is great!

Great local cheese that many local restaurants use. The outside has a cheese vending machine, inside has some local foods and does cheese tastings. Upstairs is a nice open event space. There is an elevator to the event space for those who may need it. Pictures are of their cheese caves to age the cheese through windows upstairs and also of their production area that can be viewed from both levels. We couldn't pick just one cheese so we walked out with 4.

Learned so much. Gary and his wife led our tour. An amazing story. We had a cheese tasting in our tour. Owner has a fascinating story!! Thank you. Fun. Nice store.

Driven past alot and finally stopped in for the first time. It was such a great experience! Wonderful cheese and happily gave samples then we took a walk upstairs to look at the cheese caves. If you're in the area you need to make this stop!

Very cool place . European type cheeses, both in name and in flavour. Highly recommend the drive if you love real cheese.

We visited East Hill Creamery on our recent trip to Perry. The owner spent ~30 minutes showing us around, telling us the history and showing the kids the cheese caves. We sampled some cheese and bought 2 cheeses as well as some candy. The experience was wonderful and I really hope small business owners like East Hill continue to thrive.

My husband and I got married here in August of 2022. We were blown away with how beautiful and open the event space was. The days leading up to our wedding we were so grateful for how available Josh was anytime we had a question or concern. The staff was so nice and worked extremely hard to make our day perfect!

I had never seen a cheese cave until coming to east hill creamery. It was worth going in just to see it. The staff was great and provided samples of the cheese available and invited us to tour the facility. Great experience overall!

We got there just as they were closing and they (the owners) were nice enough to stay open, let us try some samples, let us do a fast tour of the BEAUTIFUL upstairs entertaining space as well as the AMAZING AND HUGE cheese caves where some of the cheese ages for YEARS. Very friendly down to earth people own the place. They have had dairy cows since 1981 (yes, I asked) REAL farmers and REAL cheese. We got a raclette (the reserve - a bit harder and definitely more complex than a typical raclette.) We were gonna try the cheese vending machine outside but ended up buying inside. They have ice cream which I believe is also, like the cheese, made from their cow's milk. If you go, ask to see the upstairs. People rent it for weddings and events. It's Amish post and beam construction using wood (oak) from trees the cut on their land and had milled. Pretty, open and smells like fresh wood.

The self guided tour was unique, the building is beautiful inside, the ability to see the Cheese Wheels being scrubbed was awesome, as was every other looking point. This is a Must Visit. The free cheese tasting was Spectacular as well. Also I must compliment the Staff! As their friendly personality, as well as their knowledge is Astounding!

We had our Mexican themed rehearsal dinner here and everything was PERFECT! Every detail was so thought out down to the Spanish music plying in the background! The food was incredible and everyone was commenting on how great it all was and how beautiful the venue was!! Josh was extremely responsive and took care of everything which took so much pressure off of us leading up to the wedding. I would recommend Josh and East Hill Creamery over and over again!!

They have a cheese vending machine, full stop. Worth it just for that.

The place is nice, I visited on a day when the upstairs coffee bar/shop/thing was empty, and got to see into the cool cheese caves. The place was clean, nice, and the person at the sales counter was well informed and pleasant to talk to. Bought some cheese for home, and some cheese to snack on- Both purchases were delicious.

They also do events- Wedding reception, here I come!

Absolutely delicious cheeses-Personally fond of Happy Accident. Great little tasting area with locally made products. Customer service is good as well, had a gift box/shipping issue and the problem was quickly and efficiently solved. Thank you Betty!
