Country House Motel & RV Park

We loved this motel! First off, the two dogs that greeted us along with the owner were super friendly and loved the attention we gave them. The place itself was very clean, quiet and had plenty of green space for our dogs to snoop. Many small, homey touches gave the rooms an up north cabin kind of feel, versus a motel. The beds/pillows were very comfortable and the fridge was good sized too. A fan in the room was a major bonus!
I highly recommend this motel if you want a quiet, comfortable night's rest and like supporting local, small businesses that are very dog friendly. We'll be back!

Have stayed here before. It's -6 outside right now. The nice thing about this place is it has an internal hallway so you don't have to freeze to death walking around outside. I love the inside and outside doors. They do have a couple of rooms you can have pets in. In the winter the campground looks wonderful. Across the street is a huge grocery store oh, a great gas station and The Spooner Family Restaurant. A great place to eat dinner or breakfast. Nice people I highly recommend this place summer or winter

Very clean, staff wonderful. Comfortable chairs outside. Only drawback is the small bathroom size. Even with that, I would definitely stay again.

Friendly owners, newly renovated and very clean accommodations, pool, hot tub, in-room coffe and microwave, wifi, cable...what more do you need? It's awesome!

Very cute place, family owned and run by a couple with what felt like a good synergy between the two. Pleasant rooms better than the chains have.

This motel is associated with the Dinner Train in Spooner WI. The Dinner Train offers a package of four course meal served in dining cars while riding on the train and a discount on a motel room. There is a free shuttle bus between the motel and the train depot.

Very nice, comfortable, very clean. Its also full of railroad memorabilia.

Reasonable price. Clean room with microwave and fridge. Quiet. Good looking indoor pool and hot tub. Great folks running the place. They own the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad dinner or B&B train outside of Spooner too. Across the fence from Saturday Farmer's Market and RV sites next to the fairgrounds.

The motel was clean and comfortable with a nice added touch of an indoor pool and whirlpool. No breakfast, but the buffet at the grocery store across the highway was sufficient. A McDonald's and several local grocery stores are very close by.
