Bay Bell Restaurant

We frequently drive by this restaurant and have always wanted to try it out. Today, we're glad we did! The fried mushrooms were a standout dish, sliced and fried to perfection with an incredible batter. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly, according to my husband. The sweet chili wings with spicy mayo dip made for a great combination, balancing out the sweetness. The ladies here were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We drove down from Michigan for an event at Cedar Point and are so happy we stopped here. The staff was great from the moment we walked in the door. The food was fantastic as well.

I’m so glad we decided on the Bay Bell for date night. Certainly not a place to go if you’re looking for a quick meal, but it was just right for our night out. The food was perfect. The ahi appetizer was amazing. I’m glad we decided to try it. The owners were so hospitable and the staff was friendly and helpful, despite being overwhelmed. We are already planning out next trip with friends. Keep doing good things there! What a great spot!

Went here to celebrate a special someone's birthday. We all were very impressed. Meal choices included: grouper, pulled pork mac and cheese, and ribeye steak. Portion sizes were great and everything was delicious. Our server was very polite and did an amazing job. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion.

Have been going here for a few years to get breakfast. First time coming for dinner after they remodeled and I have to say it blew away my expectations. All the food was delicious and quite a wide dinner selection. Definitely will be back!!!

Bay Bell Restaurant's Chef Byron always has an amazingly creative side. Give him freedom to do as he pleases and he comes up with the most beautiful displays of deliciously appetizing food. Thank you! 🥰

The food at the Bay Bell restaurant was exceptional. Kudos to Chef Byron! We had the collard green eggrolls which were phenomenal! Everything we ordered was great. The service was top notch. I drove all the way from Toledo for the meal. Would definitely recommend.

Got the Full boiled lobster first time learning to eat that. Was an awesome atmosphere very zen, also beautiful seeing the bay. The waitress was over and beyond. Of course the price was a bit much but that’s anywhere anymore. For sure 5 out of 5.

This is a great place to come eat. Their food is delicious and I don't think it's overpriced either. We were greeted with happy faces. Even spoke with the chef. Our evening was fantastic. In the future we plan to bring my in-laws here because it's easy to get in and out of. They've got a great menu and it's just a pleasant experience.

Great folks serving great food. If you go for breakfast, get the country fried steak. Chef brings the beef out to show you the cut before cooking it (I'm not kidding). The eggs were cooked perfectly to order. Honestly, they're just eggs, I know, but I'm telling you, they're exquisite at Bay Bell. I like an over medium egg, typically at restaurants they come out over easy or overcooked. A perfect over medium with my order. Perfectly seasoned. This is really great food.

The food was phenomenal, and the bar drinks were great. This is a gem for the location, overlooking lake Erie. Pricey, but so worth it.

We have breakfast here everytime we camp nearby and love it! Hometown hole-in-the-wall feel (though they have expanded and upgraded in recent years), friendly and fast service, and the portions are huge for the price! Everything we've had was delicious. So glad we found this gem off the beaten path.

Stopped in for breakfast. Super friendly staff and the chef stepped out talked to us about our breakfast, which was absolutely amazing.
