What an unbelievably beautiful campground! Lots of activities, immaculate bathhouses, super clean grounds. The lake is gorgeous, kayaks and trike bikes to rent, swimming, pet friendly, gorgeous views, beautiful Fall foliage. We went in October and although rainy, it was an exceptional trip.

What a nice scenic lake. The beach is well maintained, and the water is pretty clean. We live in the Morenci area and found that this is the nicest beach around us to bring our children to. They have grills and a playground conveniently located next to the beach as well. It looks like they have some nice biking paths, as we see people riding their bikes there all of the time. They have clean restroom facilities there as well. The grounds are well kept, and there is not much trash on the grass to speak of. The swimming area is small, but it gets deep the further that you go out. The campgrounds look nice as well. Harrison Lake will be our new summer staple from now on

Beautiful Ohio State Park. This was our first time to stay here and we were so impressed! Lots of room between camp sites. Lots of grass and mature trees. Lots of restrooms and showers. They have laundry facilities. A beautiful lake. A place you will definitely want to go back to.

We stopped by Harrison Lake State Park on our way home from Michigan. Well off the beaten path this park has a nice little beach area picnic shelters and campground. Harrison Lake is a fairly good size lake offering birding, fishing, swimming and boating. There is a nice walking bridge connecting the campground area to the beach and a small floating dock to tie up your boat. The park was very quiet and relaxing when we visited.

We stayed at Harrison Lake State Park for 2 nights. The bathrooms are the cleanest I have ever experienced. Every day a team of 2 clean, sanitize and sweep the entire bathhouse inside and out. They wipe down glass, mirrors, windows, etc. The shower area is clean however, a door would be preferable over a curtain. There is one bathroom stall that has only a curtain. This is the ADA bathroom stall. The ADA shower has only one curtain with no real changing area. There is a nice laundry room next to the bathrooms which is clean as well. The campground itself is extremely clean. The staff do an excellent job keeping the grounds maintained and groomed. The beach area is clean. There is a specific dog beach area as well. Several play areas for children with what looks like brand new equipment. There is a cool storybook walking path for children and adults to enjoy. The DNR has a positive presence throughout the campground. We were surprised at how quiet the campground was considering it was full. It's nice to see such camper respect for others. We will definitely stay again-there are no bad sites. We stayed at site 91. the only negative to this is it is right across from the dumpster which was overflowing with garbage and the smell was nearly unbearable at times so we had to eat inside our camper.

This lake was so lovely today, the trees are in peak color for the Fall season and we're just gorgeous. We found a private spot with a picnic table, grill for our hot dogs and snores and even a swing.....we'll be returning next season for camping...

We took a daycation and had a great time. I had know idea how beautiful it is. The campground and park are very clean and so were the restrooms. Our dog enjoyed the dog beach and I spent my time fishing. My daughter needed a nice day to relax and it was perfect. The ladies working in the store were very helpful with information. We will be back soon.

One of our favorite go to places. In the spring we love to ride our bikes through the trails. In the summer we love to camp, go fishing, and go swimming. In the fall we love enjoying all the sounds and beautiful leaves that change colors. Peaceful walks in the night. In the winter we love sledding down the hill by the dam. No matter the season wether kayaking or watching fireworks over the lake this is definitely an amazing place to be. Yurts, tent camping, and RV and trailer sites available. Electric hookups. Pavilion rental with electricity and bathrooms. Also a great place for family pictures or just grilling with the small park provided grills with a picnic table between the lakes, listening to kids play on the swing sets nearby. Absolutely love this place. So much fun and so many memories.

It was out first trip to Harrison Lake State Park. It was abnormally chilly our weekend, but our family had a blast fishing, riding scooters, hiking and exploring the park. We'd want to come back when it's warmer to play in the water and bring some kayaks. The sites are spacious and you don't feel cramped. The bathrooms were spectacular and very clean, especially the bath house. There is only one water fill location, so there was a line at check in to fill our water tanks, it would be cool to add a second station. We will be back, it would be a beautiful park in the fall.

First Ohio state park. I have stayed in, and I’m thinking this might be one of the very best. Beautiful place, beautiful lake about a 3 mile hike around the lake. Campsite had 30 amp and 50 amp. Did not have to level at all paved lot. Highly recommend this park.

A hidden gem of the Ohio State Parks! A bit out of the way... but worth the drive.
The staff and volunteers do an excellent job of taking care of the campground. Even going the extra mile of raking around the fire pits.
The campground is extremely kid friendly with several playgrounds to choose from. Your child will not have to wander far from your site to play on the swings.
The south camoground is more congested than the north. The sites are closer together and only about half have electricity. The non electric sites are typically very well shaded and perfect for tents. There are plenty of trees that would be perfect for a hammock! One section of the south side is completely not electric... so no worries of an RV parking next to you. There is only one water spigot and flush toilets are available. But the closest restrooms will be pit latrines.
The north campground is quite a bit larger and all the sites have electricity. Fresh water is available at the dump station. There after many drinking fountains with water spigots available, however, they are not situated to fill up an RV.
The north side has MANY flush restrooms available. Definitely an easy walk from anywhere. But there has one one shower house.
This is a very wooded campground and most of the sites were level and spaced a little apart. The end of the loops provide the best spots.
Being out of the way, it was extremely peaceful during the week. But the weekends were almost full.
There is a dog beach available to let your pets play in the water. Kayak and bike rentals. About 3 mile loop trail around the lake.
The south side of the lake has several picnic areas and a boat launch. A public swim beach and playground is situated between the north and south campgrounds with a separate entrance.

The park is very nice. Spaces are a little closer than we typically like, but still ok.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and even the vault toilets had paper all the time. We had a problem with the communal shower situation. The shower stalls themselves are nice with great hot water and good pressure. There is a very handy shelf for soap and such inside the shower which is nice. We hated that there is no bench actually inside the private shower stall area. There are only 2 hooks hanging inside and the space is so small you can barely turn around without stepping back into the shower. There is a long communal bench outside the stalls, but sorry I’m way too private to dress and undress in public. I think all places should start considering individual shower/bathrooms as a standard practice. And then they can be unisex as well!!
We walked and biked this entire park easily as well as did the 3 mile hike around the lake. There are horseshoe pits and disc golf here. We were able to toss some shoes, but unfortunately it rained all day our second day here. We were not able to take advantage of the golf. There is a small store at the checkin center with some basics and snacks as well as recumbent bike rentals.
We happened to be here on a weekend and WOW! was it busy!! There are over 200 sites and it seems every one was filled. Overall a very nice park.

This place seemed more like the Ritz Carlton of KOA's than a State Park. The lake isn't huge but has a nice beach that is dog friendly. The camp sites are immaculate and the staff and other guests were very friendly

Very nice day for a stroll. This park has camping clean amenities and a store. This park is always nice for a simple walk around by the beach and overflow damn. Always peaceful to hear the water flowing. Also. You can bring your stand up paddle boards here and cruise the lake. Very fun in summer.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever been to. It'd been years since I last went and I still found it familiar and easy to get around. Large campsites and plenty of shade.

Hard to find the northern camp site but otherwise a super nice campground! The sites closer to the back of the loops have 5G cell service, but if you’re closer to the lake itself, it goes down significantly! Shower house was super nice and clean!
