Hometown Electrical Doctor

My husband and I are very happy we chose Hometown Electrical Doctor to install recessed lighting and undermount cabinet lights in our kitchen. We moved into our home a few months ago and realized very quickly that the lighting in our kitchen was insufficient. Chris was easy to work with and gave professional advice. The end results turned out great, we couldn’t be happier!

Chris, Brian and Jose did an excellent job on our home. The work was extensive and required all three guys to complete the work in two days.

We live in an older home and we not only needed our breaker box upgraded, but service coming into our house needed upgraded from 60 amps to 100 amps.

On top of the upgraded service and breaker box they also added a transfer switch for emergency back

They did other work related to the electrical hook up with our central air, furnace, garage door opener’s and added an outlet for our chest freezer in the basement.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results. We do have more work that needs to be done and we have no doubt who to call.

This is the second time I've used Hometown Electrical Doctor for electrical work. Bryan did a great job explaining the work and the price BEFORE starting the job. He took down an existing ceiling fan carefully so that we could sell or repurpose the fan/light. He also took great care in hanging our new 'fandelier' and installing a new floor plug.
Before starting the work, he laid a very large drop cloth to prevent any damage/staining to the carpet and also wore shoe covers when he was entering and leaving the home. After installing the floor outlet, he vacuumed the area around the new plug. The attention to detail in keeping our home clean during the install was appreciated. He made sure we were happy with the work before asking for payment and heading out to the next job. I will use them again if the need arises. Easy to schedule and they show up on time.

Hometown Electrical Doctor team installed a Level 2 Charger in my home for our EV. Could not ask for a better experience. Bryan and Jose were extremely professional, answered all of my questions and showed us how to use the new charger. It works perfectly. Local businesses like these guys are the ones worth supporting and going to.

Within two weeks of calling Hometown Electrical Doctor, Chris and his team were in my home to replace an old ceiling fan in a two-story family room. The value he quoted for my estimate was so affordable that I had other work done as well including modernizing light switches and outlets, replacing recessed lighting and two other ceiling fans in my home.
They did all of this in half a day! They worked protecting my surrounding furniture and carpet with drop cloths. They cleaned up all dust and debris and hauled away my old ceiling fans.
This was really an excellent 5 star job finished with everything I wanted done in a friendly and professional manner.

Chris and his crew did a great job reinstalling our electric wiring from pole to house. It had loosened up at the house. He repositioned it in a more secure spot. They arrived early and got the work done in a timely fashion. He has done work for us in the past. We highly recommend this company.

Armed with nothing more than a screwdriver, Chris and his crew did a thorough whole-house electrical inspection prior to submitting Hometown's estimate for the multiple items of electrical work we wanted done. In the process of the inspection, several minor electrical issues were addressed on the spot at no charge. The estimate provided was itemized and included electrical problems we were not aware of. A final out of pocket price was quoted with no "diagnostic fees". We chose to address primarily the issues that were on our bucket list and declined the remainder. We received a revised estimate that was reasonable. Chris and crew showed up promptly and were professional, knowledgable, efficient and courteous. They helped us with setting up the software for the security system we wanted to install and verified that it was working properly. We were very pleased with the service provided and would use Hometown Electrical Doctor again.

Came in the cold worked through and got my garage door working so I didn't have to manually lift it.very considerate of him in regards to me.
