Absolutely amazing place. I had a bad experience with Lorain Animal Clinic and decided to come here where Dr. Micheal J Turner diagnosed my dog with Kennel cough and put her on the correct medications. My favorite thing about the whole experience is that he didn't make it feel scary. He was very hopeful about her recovery and he spent time with my pup so she could feel safe. Thank you to Dr. Turner and your team for everything you did for Stella today.

I took my chihuahua shnoodle here for the first time today, with long matted hair. She is aggressive and has been turned down from other groomers, but they were able to sedate her and handle her with ease. They did a fantastic job cutting her hair. She came home a whole new dog. Will definitely recommend to people I know.

Soo many friends and neighbors recommended Avon Lake Animal Clinic and only had Wonderful things to say about the Staff and Veterinarians! After many disappointing Vet experiences- We changed to Avon Lake Animal Clinic and it was the BEST Decision we ever made! Dr Adam Jacin DMV is Personable , knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind to our animals. The staff from the minute we walked in and to reminder calls or to answer any questions— they are professional, caring, considerate and knowledgeable and never seemed rushed or irritated when you ask questions. One of my neighbors cats, Toby, escaped, became an outdoor cat, and was bitten by a hawk. The wound was about as big as a small cat food can, and I don’t have any pics of the original wound really, but you could see through to his muscles and tendons, and all the way through his coat. A giant hole. Just writing about gives me the willies. He showed up on my doorstep in the morning and I immediately called Avon Lake Animal Clinic who rushed him right in for an emergency surgery, and how they were able to close it I’ll never know, but they did.

Unfortunately he ended up opening the wound because he is a fidgety little guy, and they suggested we try open wound care, and for about a month and a half we have been rehabbing this baby boy. The things they recommended to use and do worked wonders. He started healing immediately, although it’s a slow process, he’s made a miraculous recovery. Happy to report he’s almost done and ready to go home, and the wound is half the size of a dime and is (hopefully) about to scab over.

I can’t recommend them enough for their knowledge and empathy and willing to work with us even though we are pretty low income and this emergency happened suddenly. The entire staff have been so kind and generous with their assistance, and Doctors Emerman, Roll, Jacin, and Graham gave Toby the highest quality care that is possible in the field. Toby’s wound was awful, and they worked miracles, and have tried to make it as easy on us hooman beans as possible giving us as much assistance and time as they possibly can.

A million kajillion bo billion stars and thanks from us all! Sincerely an amazing place with top quality everything and everyone! Literal lifesavers!

100 out of 5 stars and let me tell you why. Dr. Giannantonio and the Avon Lake Animal Clinic staff are exceptional. Dr. Giannantonio is extremely knowledgeable and will take all the time necessary to research complex cases, explain what is occurring with your fur babies, responsive, tailors every treatment plan to your pet's needs, creatively comes up with contingency plans, is compassionate, and is by far the best veterinarian my husband and I have ever been to (we've been to many over the years in multiple states). We have two sweet puppies that both ended up with complicated immune diseases at the same time which broke our hearts. When we found Dr. Giannantonio, we were desperate because everything we had tried with our prior vets failed and our puppies were in terrible shape, to a point we weren't sure they were going to make it. Dr. Giannantonio took our cases head on and with exceptional care. One of our babies is completely back to his normal crazy self and the other, who has some irreversible issues because of her disease, is back to her playful wild self (with a few handicaps here and there). Dr. Giannantonio is a blessing to us and our fur babies. Thank-you for all that you do.

I just want to thank the staff for their compassion and kindness. We had to make the very difficult decision to put our old girl down and they were so attentive and supportive. I have had bad experiences years ago at other vets where they put my cat in a garbage bag for me to take her home to bury her. Here however, they gave us a proper, sturdy box for her burial. They even wrote her name on her doggy “coffin” all pretty. Gave us all the time we needed with her to say goodbye. My family thanks you all 🖤

I cannot thank or praise Avon Lake Animal Clinic enough. Today I brought in a Russian Tortoise that I rescued with a prolapsed colon. Dr. Krupka squeezed us in as an emergency and he fixed Sawyer's colon with patience and finesse. He was so gentle, kind and talked me through how to proceed if it happens again. He showed me how to administer injections for the next few weeks and sent us on our way. They didn't charge me a ridiculous amount of money and treated Sawyer like he's the beloved pet that he is. Now that he's healed, he will spend the next 50+ years being spoiled and loved. Without Dr. Krupka, his future looked very bleak. Thank you for having compassion for all animals... And especially the exotics!

I love this animal clinic. The separate dog/cat waiting areas is nice for cats that are afraid of dogs & the specific rooms for dogs/cats are convenient. Dr. Trent is absolutely fantastic and really shows she cares about your pets by remembering things from prior visits. She takes her time, doesn’t rush and makes sure you understand everything before leaving. She helped solve a horrible on-going heath issue with my cat and wasn’t pushy to run extra tests/do extra procedures. She took things one step at a time until she had it figured out. The experience I’ve had here has been so much better than other big clinics in the Cleveland area that just treat your pet like a number and a dollar sign. Thank you!

If we could give this place 10 stars we would! Dr Krupka and team are the best exotic pet team around. We absolutely love this place. We are always treated with care, knowledge, empathy, and consideration.

Took my father-in-law’s dog for an emergency visit, same day appointment. The staff was very kind and friendly. The late night doctor was phenomenal, and very knowledgeable. They called multiple times in the following days to check on the pups status. We will be switching our own dogs to their facility in the future.

Avon Lake Animal Clinic is true to its mission and vision. The care and professionalism they afford to your pet is commendable and outstanding. Over the years, our family has been thoroughly impressed with the clinic's services. Special thanks to Dr. Giannantonio, who has been so caring and accommodating to the needs of our 16-year-old beagle. She is an extraordinary, exemplary professional! The Veterinarians and staff are top-notch here. They love animals and it shows! They are up to date on all the latest medical care for dogs, cats, & exotics.

Avon Lake Animal Clinic is amazing, even during this trying time of covid19 they provided professional care. They were always empathetic and kind to us as well as our fur babies. I highly recommend this clinic❣ Picture 1/2 is our sweet little girl named "Sammy" and picture 2/2 is our precious mini poodles Dyson (red) and Issy (black).
Unfortunately our little Issy, 18 years old crossed over the rainbow bridge one month ago, our hearts our broken, we miss and love you baby girl❣

Dr. Hadaad was an amazing soul in helping us today with the loss of our almost 16 year old dog. He was so gentle and caring as he took us through this difficult time. We’ll never forget how incredible he was with us and Rizzo today. The rest of the staff was also so thoughtful and caring. Your team did an outstanding job in this horrible “end of life” day for us and our beloved family member Rizzo. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

The staff and doctors are amazing here. Highly recommend Dr Emerman she’s very caring and upfront. Our dog has seizures and herself/staff has been a blessing for our boy.

Would like to thank the staff for treating my Doxie paddy kosa so well! We had to put her to sleep they were very compassionate to us and are dogs needs! we had a mix up that morning on clinics but I’m so glad I came to this office! We definitely got great care they helped us help paddy cross rainbow bridge! Thank you so much they did a beautiful job as well as handling paddy and her remains! Many blessings!

I had a sick gecko and after calling about 7-8 places, they were the only ones who would get me in the same day. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable about the species as well as his particular affliction. I left feeling relieved, confident in his care, and also pleasantly surprised that the bill was very reasonable. They did not nickel and dime me for all the procedures as so many other offices do. I cannot say enough good things about this vet clinic.

I’m so impressed by this clinic, and so glad to have this great resource for our dog. We have seen them for a regular type appointment and an emergency event. During the regular appointment Dr Firestone was so kind towards our dog, was a wealth of information and answered the many questions I had. Dr Turner managed our emergency event and again showed the same kindness and professionalism as we experienced at the regular consult. He called multiple times each day to update us on our dogs condition which, as doting dog parents, we really appreciated. Both doctors showed a genuine care for our pet and they are not only very good at what they do, but seemingly really enjoy it. I must also mention the front desk and support staff who always greet with a smile and run things so efficiently. The facility is also very modern and clean. I highly recommend this vet to all pet owners.

This is such a wonderful clinic! It is not very close to my house, but they treat exotics, so I’ve been bringing my chickens here. Dr. Krupa is absolutely wonderful. He is a wealth of knowledge, compassionate, and takes time to really go over any questions or issues. The techs and front desk staff are friendly, professional, and kind.
Last weekend I had an emergency with my dog when the vet clinic close to my house I usually bring her to was closed for the weekend. They got me in quickly. Again, they were just fantastic. Dr. Petti was great with our dog and us!
I find their prices from exams to X-rays to diagnostics to be very comparable to other area vets. When having a procedure for my chicken done they happily sent over an estimate before the appointment so I knew exactly what to expect.
I can’t recommend this clinic enough!
