This place is a mecca for sweet tooths. We went out of our way to check this place out and we were not disappointed. I had the El Blondie ice cream (lemon + vanilla cookies) in a sprinkle dipped waffle cone. My wife tried the Peaches n Cream ice cream in a regular waffle cone. They have different sized waffle cones depending on how many scoops you get so we were able to get a smaller waffle cone with our single scoop which was nice. We also got a cold brew coffee for the road. The owner and workers were very friendly and willing to tell you about all the cupcakes, cookies, and other goodies they have. If you are passing by Holiday City definitely stop in!

churn is my favorite place to go! they offer fire grilled pizza, soups and paninis, coffee, and the most amazing ice cream. everything is good but my go tos are the torio ice cream, desert pear lemonade, and the chicken bacon ranch pizza!

AMAZING small business! Friendly owners, delicious ice cream and treats. We stopped on a whim while driving from IL to PA, plan to stop on the way home too!

We stopped at Churn dinner after a long day on the road. Their pizza options were creative, reasonably priced, and delicious. The crust was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy and all the toppings seemed very fresh (we had sausage on our pizza and it was partially delicious). The pizza was a little larger than a standard "personal" pizza. We shared one pizza between two adults and that was sufficient. But the pizza was so good I definitely would have been happy with more. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again.

Had a taste of their coffee and it was awesome. It had flavor and they definitely know how to make coffee well. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of coffee.

Stopped in for a tea and cozy spot to chat with a friend. Ordered the wood fired pizza with house made sauce. It was phenomenal. Lots of coffee choices, ice cream, smoothies and baked goods. Laid back and comfortable but not cramped or too small. Friendly service. Will definitely be back.

I am adding Churn to my list of annual pilgrimages. Fantastic woman run business. Everything we had was off the hook good. Go early, the baked goods sell out fast. The ice cream lingers pleasantly on your lips. Flavors change but I'm sure they are all good.

Delicious fresh ice cream using local dairy (or dairy-free with coconut milk if you want) in fun flavors like Reese’s Remix, Mom’s Molasses Cookie and Cherry Nut as well as classics like Peppermint Chip and Vanilla. Pet-friendly and well worth the stop.

Wow! What a find! If you’re traveling down the turnpike and you’d rather have fresh, hand made foods rather than nasty, fast-food gut bombs, exit here! If you’re local - you’re lucky... keep this place in business. Daily fresh-made dough for their wood fired pizzas - who does that? Churn does -and you should take advantage. The Hawaiian pizza with ham, bacon and fresh pineapple was terrific. The caprese panini was toasted to perfection and fabulous. The giant cinnamon roll was awesome - and not just because it was covered with an inch deep layer of cream cheese frosting! Ice cream is HANDMADE and they have some unique flavors (I was told they sometimes make Merlot infused ice cream😮. All in all, my family highly recommends Churn for take-out (and dine-in when available). If you’re local and you’ve never been here, GO...NOW! Support your local establishments, CV19 is making it difficult for all small businesses. Your patronage goes a long way!

After reading google reviews, we decided to stop here for lunch during a long drive from Chicago with the kids. Easy to get there, just off the tollway and the kids were able to run around on the grass a bit after we ate. They had great pizza and paninis with fresh ingredients and most importantly really friendly service. We'll be back for sure.

We are in the middle of an pandemic . We called over for sweet Spicy Thai pizza and philly sandwich. They had it ready at the window for us with Smiles on their faces . They surprised us with a baked good sampler . Absolutely all of it was excellent. Thank you for everything and your happy faces .

I just had the best Chicken Bacon Cheese sandwich I have ever had!!!! The cheese steak was amazing and ice cream the coffee and carmel mocha are to die for! Also tried there pizza Jalapeno popper pizza WOW!!!!

Delicious lunch stop along the I-80/I-90. Terrific paninis and salads. The homemade lemonades(raspberry & blackberry-mango) hit the spot on a sunny afternoon. Just a mile off the highway.

They have many assortments or ice cream and different treats, very friendly and quick. They also have very large diameter straws and that makes drinking the milkshakes super easy.

The pizza and ice cream were great. We had the jalapeno popper pizza. I had a dip of very berry and a dip of bananas foster ice cream.

Tried the Mom's Molasses Cookie ice cream! Absolutely delicious! Tastes just like grandma's molasses cookies. It's worth the trip!

The ice cream was wonderful and mu cucumber raspberry tea was awesome. We will be back. Great service also.

The smoked poblano soup was spectacular, bathrooms was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. Definitely going back again.

This place omg I love it they have so much on the menu something for everyone and their ice creams that you can put tons of stuff on are good too
