Grand River Hotel

Don't be scared by talk of having to pay for parking. Yes, they charged us $14 for parking, but I was only paying $60 for the night to begin with so it came out to $74 total--very reasonable for how nice it was. We stayed here on the way to Aspen, which made for a pretty easy commute the following morning. This is the cheapest place besides Rifle that puts you within 2 hours of Aspen, but the hotels in Rifle don't have a pool like this place does! The room was very nice, the pool and hot tub were killer! This is a great combo of price and quality and we would definitely stay here again if passing through.

Had an excellent stay. Room was very clean and large. Nice little bar on-site where we enjoyed a few. Hotel is also pet friendly with great, friendly service. We had a very enjoyable stay and would gladly return.

Amazing stay! Rooms were clean & super spacious. Great value. Staff was so sweet, warm, & welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Totally bookmarking for any future nights on the road.

Manager Wilmot and her staff are so professional. Lobby full of Christmas spirit. Well done. Very clean hotel. Manager gave me great local advice which allowed me allot of flexibility. Nice to have great service in today’s world. Manager sets a great example and is reflected in property and staff. 😀

Great place to stay ! Hands down some of the very best desk help I’ve ever found in a motel or hotel. Very accommodating helpful and kind from the first phone call to departure they are great people. Clean rooms very comfortable and quiet, pool and hot tub was very enjoyable. This is a fairly new facility very modern right off the interstate with plenty of parking and a great Mexican Restaurant less than a mile away. Our stay was half the price of staying in Grand Junction and these rooms are much nicer. Anytime we are in the area we will definitely stay here again. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really fantastic. I cannot say enough positive said about this place. The room was great. Had a microwave, fridge, seating area, bed, and great bathroom. Best value on my trip by a LONG shot. The views are stunning. Service is top notch. I'm already planning a trip back here with my wife to stay for several days. Do not miss this gem of a hotel in absolutely beautiful country.

This is the best and cheapest hotel around this area. Clean, courteous and comfortable. Heated pool/ jacuzzi. A great breakfast restaurant and dispensary across the street. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back this way. Thank you

This was a marvelous place to stay. Not extremely busy and the gal that helped us in the bar and also runs the desk among other duties, was very efficient. Homemade lasagna and meatloaf meals were delicious and much appreciated.

Bang for your buck. The price for a room is great and you definitely get your money’s worth. Big, clean rooms. What made my stay pleasant is the staff. I dealt with 3 different employees and they were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Just stayed for one night while driving cross country. But would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area. Thank you staff!!

Stopped here on our way to California. Super friendly, jovial & welcoming staff! The gentleman who checked us in provided us with everything we needed to know, so no need to check back with the front desk for the rest of our stay. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean. We were traveling with our dog 🐕 and the pet fee was incredibly reasonable - $10! If this were a chain, I would frequent it again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 2 years and it is always VERY clean and consistent. The staff are very friendly also! We have never had any issues with booking and upon checking into our room its always very clean and up to date. Even recommending my out of state wedding guests to stay here for a affordable stay so that says a lot!

For a two-star hotel, they absolutely deserve five stars! Everything was clean, the beds weren't bad, the location was great (got Palisade peaches one day and kayaked in Rifle the next), and the price simply cannot be beat. Plus a pool and hot tub to boot? Sold! Damian at the front desk was fantastic! I will absolutely be back.

Wonderful place to stay! The rooms are beautiful and clean. The pool area is awesome and it's open late.The water is actually warm! Over all I must say the best part about the Grand River Hotel would have to be the staff members especially their manager. Everyone is so friendly and very accommodating there wasn't a request that we had that wasn't met. I will definitely stay there again!

Very nice hotel in all respects…….but I would think twice before staying here again. Their business model is to charge a $10 parking fee as well as an extra charge for breakfast, should you choose to eat breakfast there. Well, no I won’t pay the parking fee as a matter of principle. I guess I’m a bit stubborn.

🧐 why is this place so amazing and so cheap?!?!? For $70 we had a clean room with all the ammidities; mini fridge, coffee maker, desk, wired wifi connection, tv with lots of channels, pool, washer and dryer, and breakfast! Parking was $10. Bathroom stocked with towels and rags. Beautiful view of lake behind hotel. Nearby dispensary and liquor store. Family dollar nearby! Honestly this place was one of the best places I have stayed!

The best staff and management you could ask for. Clean rooms, hot tub, good breakfast. Whatever you need, the staff is always there to help with a smile. Highly recommended and very budget friendly. While not the Marriott with marble floors, this hotel is easily 5 stars!

My experience at this hotel was great. The location is just off the highway and right next to a gas station and Wendy's. Check in and check out were a breeze and the whole building was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was typical - nothing special. The gym looks like it used to be a guest room and only has a bike and two treadmills. But that's ok if you just want to run for a bit like I did.

Originally a Holiday Inn Express. Much nicer now for half the price. Best value we've come across while traveling in a long time. Big clean room, nice bed, indoor pool/hot tub, and very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was small but adequate. Would definitely stay again when passing through.

A cozy hotel nestled in a beautiful scenic part of Colorado. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room I stayed in which included a spacious bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, and TV. I was lucky to have a room on the back of the building with a perfect view of the mountains and a pond. Breakfast served after 6am included a variety of bagels, eggs, waffles, sausage, OJ, Apple juice, coffee, cereal. I think they also have live music shows once in a while. The owners and staff deserve an award for this amazing hotel. I was just driving through Parachute but wish I could spend a few more days exploring this beautiful town.
