Balanced Rock Inn

Such kind & welcoming service! Very clean & nice room with beautiful artwork. We liked how there was a little park right across the street for our pup. She even gave us recommendations for a place to get dinner. That was very much appreciated since we were unfamiliar with the area. Also, the breakfast room was well stocked with a nice selection of foods for myself and my kids. They loved it!

Stayed for a night with my husband and toddler and was pleasantly surprised by how cute this new updated motel was. I loved being able to moble check in and get the room code and not have to worry about a key. My only complaint is that it is fairly close to train tracks and if you are a light sleeper like me it will wake you up. My husband slept right through it. Affordable price and very cute

There are hotels and motels and some of them are fancy and some of them are not.
This motel is not only clean and very well thought out when it comes to the needs of a person staying there (lovely natural smelling shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, extra tp, white towels and linens, working clean fridge, microwave, and adorable Keurig type coffee maker easy to use and equipped with everything from coffee, decaf, hot cocoa, tea... But it's not just that. They have this amazing virtual check in which is nice if your tired or just want to rest. It eliminates the stress of normal check in.... however the communication is so good between the owners and housekeeper alike that it feels like a home. A home away from home. I run a jewelry business and today i received a message from the owner (a person I've only messaged with back and forth and never met, but feel as though i know personally)
She shared with me that i had left 2 bracelets and my Fargo debit card there and the lovely housekeeper found them and handed them into the front office!!!!
I love the feeling of gratitude and I've recently stayed here several times in the last couple weeks. I feel grateful for the balanced rock, it's owners, it's staff. It's well thought out home feel and reasonable cost.
Out of any business I've ever dealt with this is the bread winner.

Stayed here passing through Colorado and I’m glad we decided on booking here! Great value for the price and honestly the nicest and cleanest affordable hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Rooms are VERY clean and for a dog friendly accommodation that means a lot! The check in option of doing it all online with a code was very convenient since we arrived around 9pm. The room itself is spacious, if there’s one thing I’d suggest is probably just have a mirror out in the bedroom area since our room only had one in the bathroom. Other than that you really can’t beat the price! Would definitely stay here for longer if we weren’t just passing by!

The Balanced Rock Inn was such a nice surprise! It was very clean, modern and cute. Comfy beds, big flat screen mounted TVs, microwave and fridge in the rooms. We really appreciated the code lock doors that allow for virtual check in and check out. We will definitely be back!

Very cute hotel, loved the digital check in process as we arrived pretty late/tired and was able to go straight to our room. You can tell the owners try to make it unique and do the best they can for an at home feel. Would stay here again.

Had an overall great stay! I arrived late at night but their digital check in process made it easy and fast for me to get into my room. There was a grocery store a few minutes away which was great. Room was neat and clean and our suite had a pull out coach. Beds were comfortable and TV had netflix and more.

Excellent stay every time. Balanced Rock Inn has the friendliest owners and always accommodating. Rooms are super clean and they supply great shower products. Check in is easy and convenient and door code is provided, no need for a room key. Located right near the wakeboard park and pet friendly. Our go-to spot in Fruita!

Stayed for a weeknight, hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The room rate is the room rate, no hidden fees for parking or wifi. Check in/out was a breeze. The coffee and breakfast selections beat most chains, too. Would 100% stay again.

Stayed your hotel, was pleasantly impressed with the updated and cleanliness. When we travel always look at the review before booking. You got 5 out of 5 stars in most cases, which I totally agree.
Very friendly, and the town of Fruita, what a great little town. All the shops and restaurants were very cool.

I'm so glad I found this place! I thought it was a great value & loved the updated / modern rooms. Felt super safe, and the beds were comfortable. Great WiFi for working remote. And best of all--very dog-friendly!

Modern check in/out process, comfortable rooms with excellent quality toiletries. The free breakfast was lovely, lots of options to choose from.

Loved that it had hard wood floors and toiletries available in the bathroom. Everything was very nice and clean. The mini-fridge came in so handy and the king size bed was comfy. Looking forward to the breakfast room in the morning.

Very modern and updated little motel. I thought the beds were very comfortable and the property felt safe. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a train track nearby, but I only heard 1 train between 11 PM and 7 AM and was able to immediately fall back to sleep. Also, having a door code texted to you after checking in online is super efficient, as you can pull up and go right in the room.

Would definitely stay again!

My dad and I are road tripping through the Southwest and we happened upon this place last night and said “let’s check it out.” AH-MAZ-ING! The host (sorry, forgot to ask her name!) and her lovely doggos checked us in with no issues, without a reservation, and we walked into a clean, bright, comfy room. Clean everything; new mattresses, bedding, room, bathroom, shower- (and great water pressure!), lotions, soaps, brand new TV, nice lighting, and BEAUTIFUL spread for a continental breakfast!! We will DEFINITELY be back here again when we come through!

Also, didn’t hear/notice ANY trains or loud traffic, BUT, if you stay at a hotel/motel DIRECTLY OFF A FREEWAY, NEXT TO A TRAIN, YOU WILL HEAR TRAFFIC. Anyone complaining about that should move along and go pay $80 to stay at a KOA.

Great stay in a very clean room! Great rates and very close to the local wakeboard park! Definitely my go spot when in town!

I've stayed here twice now and loved it both times. The check in process is virtual and super easy and the staff is always friendly. They are dog friendly too which is great. The rooms are always clean and very nice since it's been renovated. You can occasionally hear the train at night

We were looking for a place to stop after a long drive and found The Balanced Rock. It was nicely updated, clean, and had a great bed in it. Loved staying at this place and found it to be very reasonable! Highly recommend!
