Visited July 2nd 2023 and still plenty of snow. Very nice area! Bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are viscous in the shaded areas of the trail.

it was a nice hike. we went around the lake and then hiked out to lost lake. Enjoyed the walk/views.

Not that anyone can really do much about it, but the gargantuan mosquitos are out en masse! The trail to Lost Lake was clear but there were no distance markers which are a nice feature.
