LOCALS EVERYDAY STOP FOR A BITE KIND OF JOINT, HOME QUALITY MEALS OVERMATCHING NEIGHBORHOOD AFFORDABLE PRICES, VERY ATTENTIVE & HUMBLE FOLKS…GOT OFF THE HIGHWAY ON MY 18 WHEELER AND WENT IN FOR A MEAL 30min BEFORE CLOSING & THE HARD WORKING WOMEN AT THIS JOINT TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY WILLING TO COOK ME ANYTHING ON OR OFF THE MENU (LIKE THE SEAFOOD TOSTADA OM THE PIC)

Had their papas locas! Preferred the red sauce over the green. But still very delicious. Their chips and salsa were amazing! Not to mention their drinks! The Michelada in those cute cantaritos with Chamoy and tajin was 10/10.

Excellent place to have a great family time!! They provide great costumer service. I totally recommend it to go eat out and hear music. The food is great and they have a huge variety of dishes! I totally recommend!!

Delicious food!!! And big portions! Definitely home made! I personally don't visit many Mexican restaurants because no one does it better than my abuelita. But La Jefa is like visiting my grandma and eating her freshly made tortillas and Delicious food! Love this place!

First time to visit La Jefa and was very surprised at the good food. Didn't even know this restaurant was there. Give it a try, food is good.

We went in fir the first time . explained to waitress that it was out first time there. Service was outstanding. Food was absolutely delicious. Our service was so good that we figured that it was because its was out first time.. Since then we have revisited La Jefa several times and the service continues to be great. We have tried a different plate overtime we visited. Recommend La Jefa to anyone who wants authentic Mexican food.

Denise was very patient and helpful! It was my wife's and I first time and she was very descriptive on the different plates we were inquiring about. And the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Food is good, just didn't like the huevos rancheros in green sauce they are made with cream of chicken type sauce. I didn't want green enchiladas. My husband's red Chile was amazing.

Remember when it was the red rooster had good food then, first time here seems like a nice place

Great food, great service. Yes free margaritas. Just like the picture says. You can't beat free. My wife had the Jefa combo plate and loved it. I had the burrito bañado, it was delicious. The sides of beans and rice were awesome as well. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend La Jefa.

I love the red chili sauce blend we had red enchiladas with onions one egg on top flat enchiladas double beans no rice excellent waitress excellent service- fast hot and friendly- jukebox a little bit too loud though, I will definitely go back again my first time there

My meal was exceptionally good. I had the breakfast skillet. Plenty of food. I left very satisfied. My waiter Victor was wonderful. He took care of all my needs. I would highly recommend La Jefa to anyone..
They also offer a free Margarita to customers.

Walked in, and immediately noticed a very clean place. The food was fantastic. Seriously, the service was good. But the food was better. The boss (la jefa) came out and made sure everything was to our expectations. I definitely will be back. Oh, and the salsas are 🔥🔥🔥. The amount of food for the price, you can't go wrong

I highly recommend La Jefa restaurant for catering and events, their foods delicious (the churros were amazing!) and they were able to accommodate a very large gathering at the last minute!

Very authentic, customer service is fabulous and they cater to what u want. I asked many questions and La Jefa herself came out to answer my questions and take my suggestions. The fresh cucumber water was perfect. New favorite place 😊

Both times I’ve came to this place it’s AAA service, very kind waitresses and I can say that for both the young women that helped me out. Food is great won’t be disappointed. I live in horizon but this will be my Mexican stop on this side of town. Thank you.

This place is a hidden gem, the food is delicious especially the birra tacos . Food is fairly priced with excellent service!!
