Sleep's Cabins

This place is awesome!! My husband and I stayed in cabin 29. We did a last minute booking for 2 nights but we ended up staying a total of 4 because we were enjoying ourselves so much! The cabin and the landscaping are very well kept and absolutely darling! The hosts Brent and Tawnie do a fantastic job hosting and we also enjoyed our visits with them. We will be back!

We stayed at Sleeps Cabins for a week and it was great! The cabin are equipped with everything you'll need, they're neat and tidy. The owners were so kind and the landscape on the property was beautiful! We rented a boat and were able to tie it up to the dock. I can't wait to go back :)

I could not express enough how wonderful my stay here was. My friend & I rented out the Traveler's Cabin (cabin 6, cheapest option, I believe) after traveling from Utah & it was quiet, cozy, & beautiful! The master bed was super comfortable (soft yet firm), which is my biggest gripe when finding somewhere to stay on vacation. We enjoyed having a kitchen so we could cook, we used the VHS/DVD player for movie night, used the laundry amenities, & we used the free paddleboards on the lake. We traveled here for a wedding & the area was a great place to get a few bridesmaids photos in. The property is aesthetically marvelous & detail oriented. We are artists & lovers of flowers, so we pay attention to such things. ;) Tawnie offered AMAZING customer service from the moment I booked, which was 3 months in advance, all the way until our stay was over. Even past our checkout date! I had left my books when we left & she shipped them to me the next day. You can tell the owners truly care & want to provide a great experience for their customers.

A couple of cons: the bathroom of cabin 6 is small & I had to find a good place to get ready in for the wedding. The sink is tiny & I struggled to wash my face without making a mess. I also wish there was a bit more water pressure. All of the "cons" are not big deals to us, but are worth mentioning in case anybody finds these things necessary when booking. Seriously guys, 10/10 experience! I have personally fallen in love with the place. Be sure to read up on the history of Sleep's Cabins, it made it that much more fun for me.

We recently stayed at Sleep's Cabins two nights in the 2 bedroom Guest Cabin. The cabins are situated in a lovely lake view setting and Tawnie, the owner, has lovingly planted beautiful flowers all around the grounds. We loved the privacy and the view the Guest Cabin provided. The cabin has a high quality feel to it and was thoughtfully furnished and supplied. Beds and sofa were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. There is a great washer and dryer in unit which was super handy. Above all the great amenities is the warm welcome that Tawnie extends so that you feel like an old friend rather than a customer. We hope to return some day to this special place.

We stayed here in late May/early June 2022 for our babymoon. It was so impressive, far exceeding our expectations. Everything from the wooded path down to the waterside, to the amazing view from the back porch and upstairs window, to cozy layout of the cabin was truly perfect. The hosts were helpful and available. Attention to detail on the property is impressive (freshly cut fire wood for the camp fire, well managed grass and foliage, clean and functional cabin kitchen). The location can’t be beat. One of those rare experiences where the value far outweighs the costs (ie we would’ve paid quite a bit more and still felt like it was a good deal for what we got). No discernible downside, would recommend to all without reservation.

Such a fun and beautiful place to stay. We have been twice already and are going again in a week. The first time we stayed in the smallest cabin, but it was lovely. Such cute decor, very well maintained and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept on. Everything was clean, the dishes and kitchen ware are plentiful, the shower full of hot water and good water pressure. Perfect cabin for the two of us.
The second time we stayed in the cabin with 2 bedrooms and it was lovely as well. Loved the decor, the firepit and bbq and I imagine the wood stove would be lovely in winter. Again, great kitchen ware for cooking, super comfy beds and plenty of space to play with our grandkids,
Tawnie is a delight and super responsive and makes delicious brownies!
I can’t wait to go in just about a week and look forward to many more visits.

Loved our stay at Sleep's Cabins. Owners responded quickly to all our requests and even pulled life jackets out of storage for us (even though they probably though were crazy to go out on the water so early in the season). Beautiful cabin, clean and well maintained. Right by the lake, fire pits and chairs by the water. Overall awesome!

We loved our stay. Very well maintained and very nicely decorated. Everything stocked in the kitchen to cook any kind of meal. Beautiful setting and very relaxing by the campfire or beautiful rock fireplace. Big screen TV with cable and assorted DVDs for evening after dinner relaxation.

Loved this place !!! We stayed here for a week during Christmas and they had decorated with a Christmas tree and other decor, left us fresh brownies to welcome us . They scraped the snow from the sidewalk in front of our cabin every day. The place has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. It’s a very homey , comfortable feel . Loved the decor , very cabin/ outdoors themed . I only met one of the managers and he was very nice and helpful. Only downfall was we had to kill several spiders in the cabin throughout the week , it was very clean though and I would love to go back and highly recommend to other people.

Beautiful and scenic vacation spot for couples and family or alone. Immaculate cabins with fresh brownies! The lake is so wonderful. And, peaceful. Will return again and again!!! Made some new memories and met some real nice people.

My husband and I just stayed in the guest cabin for a couple days this weekend. We were greeted warmly by Tawnie, our host and was even able to peek in the other cabins as people were not there yet. All of the cabins are amazing and so cozy and clean. Our cabin had a lil welcome card and Tawnie, I don’t know what you did to those brownies but they were the best. Some hint of mint. Nice touch! ;) but the cabin had an amazing kitchen and cozy little living room with the view straight to the lake. The linens were fresh and the place was emaculate. The whole thing was spacious enough for a large family. We truely felt at home. The lake access is just a few short steps from the back yard. The lake and the view is breathtaking. It was too cold to swim this time of year but we are already planning bringing our whole family back soon. The only tiniest thing I wished is for a bigger bed, but then again we’re used to our king at home. For a get away and a weekend in Sandpoint , this place is now our go to. Absolutely need to check it out.

Great place to escape! Not to far for a local getaway. Reminds you of a simpler time when things just were more laid back. Cabins are good size. Fully stocked means FULLY stocked! Even bake ware! Owners are great, and Standpoint is just a stones throw away!

For my first time being to any cabin. I'd say this was an amazing plesent experience all around. The owners of the cabins are vary friendly. Grandma Sleeps would be vary proud. I am vary happy to been here.

On beautiful Lake Ponderay. These rustic but modern cabins are full of history and stories. There are two dock for swimming, khaking, or casting a line for a delicious Trout. When I think relaxation I think Maui, but Sleep Cabins come a close second place. Please check it out for yourself. I would hate to lose such a magical place.

Welcome to serenity. This is the place to stay if you want beautiful views with the comforts and conveniences of home along with the feeling of remoteness. The owner/operators make you feel like an established neighbor. Most enjoyable.

We stayed in 10 places on our vacation and none of them came close to this place. I could not recommend this place higher. They had EVERYTHING you could ever want in a vacation cabin. Plus Tawnee was the best caretaker we have ever come across. I would give this place 10 stars if we could.

Awesome, homey, accommodating, spectacular folks. We were in a bind, Tawney and Brent jumped in to help however necessary. They treated up like family! It doesnt get any better! The cabins were like being home. Thank you guy's

Loved this place! Stopped here for one night while passing through. Wish they were at our final destination. Unique little cabins that were very comfortable and cozy. Had a wonderful time.

What an oasis of peace. The granddaughters loved the paddle boards and crawling around the rocks at the edge of the river.

The owners are absolutely wonderful. We were able to rent fourth of July and the week of Christmas. Wouldn't want to spend the holidays anywhere else. Highly recommended!
