Red Barn Campground

We had such an amazing time bringing the pups and the toddler with us. It is a very nice clean place with clean bathrooms and all the extras. The wagon ride was a ride to remember with all the trails. We will definitely be returning.

This campground has permanent and daily sites. New owner's are improving it pool next season close to Shell Lake very nice spot in northwest Wisconsin.

Friendliest campground owners and hosts we've ever encountered in 30 yrs of camping. Grandkids 1st camping trip and they had a great time. Many hours on the playground petting the horses and Dottie came and took them to gather eggs. Clean and quiet great public beach in town just down the road.

I absolutely CANNOT say enough good about this place or the wonderful people who run it.

When you stay here you feel like you're an invited guest of the lovely couple who own it.

The shower/bath facilities are older, but clean with hot water and no silly additional charges for showers, etc.

They also have farm animals on site and the kids can help take care of them like picking eggs from the chickens. Those same eggs are available for purchase for only $1.25 a dozen.

I would not hesitate to stay here again if I were back in mid-WI for a stay.

P.S. My group was on motorcycles and they were happy to have us and very accommodating!

Very nice campground. Lots of shade. Clean. Quiet. We stayed 3 nights.

We have been seasonal campers here at Red Barn for 3 years. The campground is very family friendly. It has a playground, the top of the barn is for your use ( ping pong, pool, or basketball), kids can bike around the campground as well. You are only a hop, skip and a jump away from the lake. Lots to do from biking, swimming, mini golf and horse shoes or just take time to sit around the fire and visit!!

My granddaughters had the best time at red barn..I love seeing the twinkle in there eyes and the excitement of being there..Dottie and Lee really put alot into this campground. I will always have wonderful memories from the Red Barn Campground as will my granddaughters. Thank you Dottie and Lee for the awesome memories!!!!!

took my son there, we had a blast, big thunder storm rolled thru, had to go to the severe weather shelter in the basement of the barn, just like when I was his age with my parents. Clean, friendly, fun place for the kids and parents alike.

A big group of our went up there for labor day weekend this last year had a fun trip the hosts are super nice water and electric hook up for the campers the only bad thing I can say about the camp ground is where we where set up it was a little small for some of the campers in our group but we made it work they have a nice playground area for the kids and a little hayride and a little rec hall so they got some thing for everyone and we already got our spots for next labor day

What a terrific place to camp for a few days. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Wilderness camping was quiet and private. Wine tasting at the nearby vinery also made for a tipsy yet delightful afternoon.

We love the Red Barn! Great family campground. Owners and grounds keepers are fabulous.
