The funeral director began questioning me via a telephone call about my parent's injuries in incredibly painful detail. I asked him to call the hospital for the answers and further informed him that
I did not want to speak about the horrible injuries that took my parent's life, at which time the funeral director became irritated, rude and arrogantly smug, so I ended the call.
What kind of heartless apathatic person behaves this way during such a devastating time in someone's life.

Very heartless people! Lack any compassion and very smug. They will really try to take advantage of your loss as well.
