Great fishing trip! Very nice people. Did great with the kids. Good food and a boat heater. Enjoyed the guides' company. They have everything well organized. Caught lots of big fish. Hope to do it again!

Had a great rafting trip with Dane and the Rawhide outfitters. Top notch group and great hospitality. Our whitewater trip changed due to landslides so we floated further up the Salmon River. Definitely would rebook and refer this Company.

Took the family onto a 3 day horseback trip, then one day white water. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Great group with amazing people. John and Justin were super awesome, and Kathy made amazing food. Highly recommend them!

just a great trip! The guide knew the area well and brought a wealth of fun knowledge. We took our 4 and 6 year olds who are river rats and they had a blast too! Over the years the Craney’s are more like family. They always help us have the best fishing experience possible. My kids and grandkids love Cathy’s great meals. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

River floats are relaxing and personnel is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip a lot. They offer many type of outdoor adventures. My niece was so impressed she decided to do the white-water trip the next day.

First recent trip to Idaho, all planned around rafting! Our guide Dane was great. The homemade snacks and lunch were sooooo much better than standard turkey sandwiches! Great moderate ride, fun day, would book another excursion with them on the return, likely fishing or horseback!

My daughter has been wanting to go horseback riding for quite some time. We were coming to Idaho from Virginia to visit my grandmother. As a gift for my daughter she booked a day trip for the three of us. We met Justin, our guide in the morning he was very nice and answered all of our many questions. After a brief safety meeting he had us get on our horses he was sure that the saddles fit us just right. We rode a good way stopping to learn some facts about the area along the way. After a couple hours we stopped for lunch. Lunch was amazing. Best picnic ever homemade pasta salad and chicken salad sandwiches among other things. Then it was back in the horses for the ride out. The trail itself was a little more primitive than I had anticipated but the horses were well trailed and very good at what they do..... If you are thinking about this outfitter they are the real deal!!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday scenic tour by Justin (our guide) and his daughter. It was just the most perfect time! We chose a drift boat over a river raft for the trip so I could capture some good nature photography on the river banks. Justin had some great history and insights to our surroundings and busted out some homemade muffins and cookies for us to enjoy! Would definitely choose Rawhide Outfitters or any river excursions in the future.

Outstanding experience on our whitewater raft trip. Guide Luke made the trip fun, both through the rapids and his stories. Loved the homemade lunch, cooked on-site with extra special homemade desserts. Wish I could have the recipe for the Asian salad. Tell Luke we both snagged a cutthroat on a dry!!

We had the best time on our Lewis and Clark trail ride. We can not speak highly enough of our experience with Rawhide Outfitters. Everything about the day was perfect. Not to mention the delicious homemade lunch.

Greatest! people I have met here in Idaho. Took us on a hunt after I had a neck fusion and a six inch rod placed in my back to stabilize me after a car accident. My two Kids went too. All tagged out. They made all the difference in my life. Gave me the confidence in living a full life again. Love you All. And kids had the time of there life, learned a lifetime full a great knowledge. We had the best experience with our half day horseback ride! We got up to some great views and our guide was patient with our kids, very knowledgable and made the trip a lot of fun! We hope to do some guided hunting trips and rafting with Rawhide on the future!

I have fished with Rawhide Outfitters for over 15 years on at least 8 trips. It is hard to describe the experiences I have had with this family run outfit. These are the most honest hard working folks I have ever met and fished with. They treat you like royalty. They know the river better than anyone I have ever met. I have always caught fish with them, but more importantly my experiences have been nothing but great. Cathy is a great cook who wants to please you anyway she can from her hand made sandwich's soups and desserts. There boys and John do most of the guiding, but my personal favorite is their friend Steve. I have been hunting and fishing with Steve for over 20 years, there is no finer guide for my money.

Wonderful family company with great service. We went rafting with them and Grant was wonderful with my kids and parents. The food they served was top quality and delicious. If you are going to Salmon, this is the company you want to go with.

My brother and I have very wonderful memories of our time with this family. My family and friends floated and fished with RawHide outfitters 4 times 10 years ago. All of us always felt safe and comfortable while experienceing the beauty of Idaho. We want to go again soon. She made a wonderful dinner for us out their home. Thanks for the memories. Priceless!

We had an amazing a full day trail ride on Wagonhammer Trail. Justin was a great guide and led us through beautiful country. The horses, Mouse,Darby, Stick and Trudy were patient, strong and healthy! Can’t wait to go back.
