I was pleasantly surprised by this camp site. This part of the state is pretty desolate. However, this campsite is just a couple of minutes off the freeway and is by a pretty spot by a stream that connects to the river. There's a well maintained set of bathrooms, picnic tables (covered and uncovered), and firepits. The only downside was that there were trains that would pass by occasionally down the road and would honk a few times each time one passed.

This is a nice BLM park with river access. It has a nice picnic area, walking path & plenty of fresh Montana air!

Amazing free campsite managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Clean pit toilets and lots and lots of picnic tables around. The camp host was very friendly and gave us advice about where to park. Lots of room to park on the grass and in gravel parking lots. The path by the river is very nicely paved and scenic. The train is a bit loud when it comes by, but not the worst.

It has been a wonderful time out here so quite. The trains are welcome noise braker sometimes

Directly on the Yellowstone River. Easily accessible with ample space to park or camp.

Quite and relaxing

Nice little area. Well maintained. Not really a spot for RV/campers but grassy area with fire rings for tents. Stayed the night in a pop-up camper. If you love the sound of loud trains blowing their horns every 45mins all night this is the spot for you! Camp ground hosts site is a mess of trash all over never saw them out. Also awesome at 6:30am after a night of train horns, the local church was hosting a morning service and thought it was a great idea to weed whip around our camper and the pavilion area bight and early! Very unrestful night. Otherwise clean bathrooms.
