East Main Animal Clinic

The Veterinarian and Staff were very accommodating of our unscheduled visit. Our English Setter had become quite ill and was in obvious pain and gastric distress.

A full examination was performed including a blood draw and test for pancreatitis which returned a positive result.

The Veterinarian, Ashlee Janitell, DVM, was thorough, knowledgeable and expedited treatment. Thank You for a positive experience during a difficult time.

Wonderful clinic from the front to the back . staff was sweet and very welcoming. Walked in and it smelled so clean and was beautiful. Had my old dog coco looked at today and the vet was very sweet, professional and understanding. Felt extremely comfortable and glad we have such a awesome clinic in town. Thank you ladies , so glad my fur kids have a new amazing vet 🐾 appreciate all that you do.

So compassionate and caring to our pets. I've adopted 2 of our 3 animals from here and they've done a fantastic job caring for all of them. Thank you guys for loving on our fur babies as if they were your own. It really means everything to us.❤

I had an emergency with my little Pomeranian who had a lot of blood in his stools and despite having an extremely full day along with surgeries etc., Ashley still got my pup in and took every test she could to make sure we found out what was wrong with him. I couldn’t tell you how happy I am with her sound knowledge and soft touch with his care. It is nice to know that no matter how busy we get, quality is still priority for this Vet! This amazing establishment went above and beyond last night coming in after hours for an emergency to help someone that was in desperate need. I didn't get your name but what a sweetheart. I am new to this area and I'm so proud to be apart of this community.

I've been bringing my dogs here since I moved to Miles City about a year ago. Very happy with the service; comforting and compassionate when I had to have one of my dogs euthanized.

I needed an emergency visit and they were able to quickly get us in and help, they were kind, patient, understanding and let me take as much time as needed to say my goodbyes (he had cancer and it was too late to save him), we got him cremated and the costs were the lowest I've ever seen (I'm from Washington, this would normally cost at least 300 for a private cremation alone), and they were super understanding when I came for his remains when I needed to take some time before I could pick him up. They also are the only vet in Montana that knows what they are doing when it comes to ferrets, I recommend this place Every. Single. Time. I have brought both my ferrets and my dogs here, we love how we are treated and the care they receive as well as the prices 💕

My four legged crew and I were in a remote part of eastern Montana hunting for the week when my gentle giant of a dog got an ear infection. I call both clinics in Miles City and East main got him in with out an appointment. I was impressed with how clean the establishment was and professional looking it was. I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. Figuring it was going to take the couple hours or more to look at him but to my surprise they had him looked at and treated with in the hour. Talking to the head veterinarian was very professional and kind. Big thank you from Ares (gentle giant) and I for taking care of him the way you did.

Great service and friendly staff that care

We are over the road truck Drivers from Ohio when my fur baby started to throw up. We stopped in Miles City at the truck stop in the middle of the night to wait on the clinic to open praying they would even see her considering she is not there patient. When I called at 8am they had me bring her right in. The vet Dr Claire McNamee was so polite and caring. I had to leave Callie there for IV therapy and to manage the symptoms. I and my husband had a load due in WA. The vet called everyday and night to give us a update on Callie. We couldn’t pick her up until Saturday. The clinic is awesome. I just want to thank the clinic as a whole for caring for my dog.

This place was amazing! When our dog was sick they stayed open an hour and a half late (cuz we live far away), just to make sure he would be ok, then after some tests and they discovered he had serious kidney stones she called in another doctor to come in and do the surgery that night!......after they removed the stones and a few weeks went by he started having the same problems as before, so we went back in to get him checked out, and a few more tests later they discovered there was another kidney stone....... she did the second surgery for free just in case there was any chance they missed some the first time.....I couldn't believe how thoughtful and gentle they were with our puppy this is the very best vet clinic I have ever been to or even heard of.....I live everyone there......they are all heroes in my book :)

My poppet had hernia surgery ,the staff and surgeon were very informative and great at easing my fears. I couldn't have asked for better results. Surgery went well. Thank you so much!

Had to have my dog put down, due to lymphoma. They were very caring and sincere and made the terrible moment more bearable. Also handle the cremation and schedule a pickup time for you. Costs a little more, but still a good experience.

This is a GREAT vet clinic! I was traveling cross country from Oregon to Michigan when I noticed that my beloved pup had developed a very troubling skin infection. What to do? When I hit Miles City I called East Main Animal Clinic and they told me to bring her in. They squeezed me in, did tests, diagnosed the problem, prescribed appropriate medication...and then I was back on the road. I felt such confidence in the care my pup received that I scheduled a follow up appointment at this clinic for my return trip home to Oregon three weeks later. Dr. Claire McNamee is a wonderful Vet; she is highly skilled, compassionate, and a real credit to the Miles City community. Thank you East Main Animal Clinic!
