PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center

Fell on a cruise and was evacuated to Peace Health Medical Center. I ended up staying 3weeks but I can honestly say Dr Becker and staff of both hospital and rehab center exceptional! Nurses were caring and very friendly.

I can not say enough about my great care. Everyone was incredible but Marvin went above & beyond to make our difficult journey thru this experience as good as it could be under the circumstances!!! A special thank you to Dr Wright & his great healthcare team. Personalized & sensitive care in adifficult time

I sustained a superficial but very painful and bloody scalp laceration while on a cruise in Ketchikan and was taken to this emergency room. Care was exceptional--skillful, successful and compassionate! Dr. Stout and her nurse were lovely and my wound has healed without incident thanks to their quick and careful work. I particularly liked that Dr. Stout explained all the options to me and made a convincing case for the one she thought we should choose. I did and the outcome has been terrific. Thank you Dr. Stout and the ER staff at Ketchikan PeaceHealth Medical Center.

Dr. Lenny and nurse Diane in the ER provided an amazing experience after we rushed our 6yr old daughter to the ER after an unfortunate school accident with some gym equipment for the side of her mouth
She was numbed and stitched up. Bedside manner and care to a scared little girl who was hungry was wonderful.

While its not fun to be admitted to the hospital, you can make the difference! Have a positive attitude when admitted (if at all possible). It also helps to have friends who might be willing to get you a pole for that (shudder) dance to pay for your meds (thanks Celeste, sister to my wonderful son in law!)! Or to to suggest that you run around the nurses station yelling "I'm a pony " to meds paid for (again SHUDDER)! Again Celeste (oh yes if I get in trouble I'm dragging you down with me😉). And Denise Denise Hendrix Reeser, video? Bwahaha!
But most of all the staff are SUPERB! Thank you Brennan and Mark. You kept my spirits up! A SPECIAL kudos to John! You made my day with your smile!! Keep it up!

I was there on the 3rd of juily, the state in the er were very nice, they let me go in an HR just to make shur that I was o.k. I'm going to keep going there, the hospital has changed a lot over the passed mounrhs, I like the new orto pedics, I hope they keep up the great work.

Great staff and great service. Stopped by while on a cruise port call for a minor Injury and was very impressed.

So good to have great care available in our small community. We are blessed to have so many services available right here in Ketchikan and such great caregivers!

My sister was recently injured ,while on a tour in ketickan Alaska...she was brought by ambulance to your hospital.....She broke her hip and wrist and needed a hip replacement....I just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of her while in Alaska...and may God bless you all.....

Friendly and Helpful staff

The Staff are friendly, the food is decent. It has some handicap parking and a door you can drive up.
I wish there was more parking though because it is hard to find a parking spot.
