Great food and service and all around cute cafe. I was there around lunchtime and started with delicious coffee and poutine fries covered in Gorgonzola cheese and vegetarian mushroom gravy. Then for lunch I had the salmon filet with rice pilaf with subtle coconut flavor. I also tried my friends lamb burger which was beautifully seasoned and the most delicious lamb I’ve ever had. All around great place to stop while in Ketchikan!

Recently visited Ketchikan and had dinner as well as breakfast here. The food and service were excellent at both times! The evening visit had a really fun band and lively atmosphere. I got the Pork Belly Roll with sweet potato fries - great balance of flavors and high quality ingredients!
Sunlight filled the space for our morning visit and we had a more relaxed experience. Excellent mimosas and coffee (my latte features a dragon!) and we loved our food - Cathead Biscuits and Gravy and Smoked Salmon and Eggs.

Cozy local joint to stop in for a drink and food. Great beer selection on tap. Our group ordered the halibut filet, salmon filet, and halibut fish and chips. The halibut filet was our favorite but the food overall was delicious. Service was friendly and made good suggestions for food items. Definitely recommend dining here especially if you’re looking to eat some local fish.

I had my first trip to Ketchikan a couple of weeks ago and ate several meals at the New York Café. The menu is fantastic, there morning lattes are to die for, the service is great and it was really a fun place. One evening they had a trio of musicians playing and I ended up dancing for the first time in many many years! I wish there were a New York Café exactly like this in Seattle! I’d be eating there regularly…

Awesome breakfast! Scratch hollandaise sauce. Perfect poached eggs. Unless a big group sit at the bar. We ended going here twice on a 3 full day vacation. Go early to avoid the cruise crowd.

End of the season...literally the last week! Cruise ship(s) purge a multitude passengers on this picturesque little town. Somehow, we walked into New York Cafe and were seated immediately. The cue formed out the door after us. Crisp, efficient service of excellent food. Not the time to try to chat up our server or ask about local sites to see. We understand as we too are in the biz.

Absolutely fantastic! Been in town before and had a less than desirable experience at another restaurant so it made me hesitant to try again.

The food was amazing! The staff was engaging and fun! Even stayed longer and had dessert and coffee as it was so wonderful.

Absolutely recommend and will stop by next time I'm in town again!

If it's raining or cold and you're near Creek Street, you can always visit the New York Cafe to find refuge or something to eat. At Ketchikan. At this lovely place, you can order a plate of food or a coffee with a cheesecake as we did after a rainy day. I recommend that you try the lavender cheesecake!

Whoa! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVE THIS PLACE! They hands down, have the BEST LONDON FOG I have EVER tasted in my life! 🥰 Customer service was fast and kind. The bathrooms were clean. Definitely check this place out!

Our tour guide recommended this cafe and I am glad we stopped. We ordered 2 entrees to share among us and coffees. The coffees were delicious! The entrees were a Mediterranean style and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

This little place is special. Quality food, local, creative and diverse. I was in town for 4 days, and was lucky enough to have both brunch and late lunch. Menu diversity makes choosing very difficult. I had shakshuka and scotch eggs for brunch. Amazing! So rare to find both of tjose on same menu, nevermind both prepared very well. Had local caught calamari and fish chowder the second trip and the chowder was hands down the best i have had in my travels in Alaska. Seasoned well, hand cut chunks of fish and veggies, in a thick but not too thick chowder. They also served it with butter on side as it should be. Great job! If i lived here i would eat here every week.

Cozy, full of light..pleasant atmosphere and good service…”Mezze” was pretty good. Recommend.

Went twice in one day and would have returned!! Great service! Salmon cakes, halibut burger and kebab was all fantastic. Great Alaskan beers and wonderful environment

Grabbed me a Scrambled Salmon and eggs with cherry tomatoes and soar dough Baggetts to go. Great amount of flavor and just the right portion. Very friendly.

Mediterranean salad with halibut, scallop appetizer, salmon balls appetizer, and fish chowder. Each dish was cooked perfectly and the coffee is delicious! Highly recommended by locals as well.

This cafe is brisk and busy with ambience. It serves a flight of 4 regional ales, and has 6 on tap.
The ones sampled were all from Denali: Mother Pale Ale, Denali Grove IPA, Single Engine Red, and Chuli Stout.
The Mother was a plain and simple ale. Nothing special, but made for comfortable sipping.
Denali Grove had a lovely citrusy foretaste, without being overpowering. Very satisfying. Single Engine Red was everything a red should be, with that deep malty flavour and mellow aftertaste. It isn't special, but intriguing, compelling enough for another sip.
Chuli Stout gives you a dark roasted flavour. It's not sweet as some stouts and porters tend to be. It is a trifle heavy, almost old-fashioned, like a first cousin to a Guiness.

My wife and I ate a delicious breakfast here… the chef put just enough of a delicious twist on the traditional skillet breakfast to make it one of the best meals of our trip (a week long cruise on Holland America). Service was amazing and their outstanding hot chocolate hit the spot on a rainy morning. It’s a short walk from the cruise docks and is right at the base of Creek Street.

This place is high quality food and have an eclectic rotational menu, I've seen lomo saltado, kachapuri, American, etc.. If you are like me and think that Cape fox lodge is good just for the views and Annabelle's is just OK, try this place!

Lovely spot! Superb Salad Tossed greens, Pear, candied walnuts, Gorgonzola & delicious vinaigrette! The Halibut was on point!
