The Pig Bar-B-Q

This is where the locals go to have a good meal! Absolutely huge portions, even the cups are large. Our server was quick as a whip and very nice even though it got very busy. The girls working there were hustling, between phones/drive through, tables, cash register and phone orders.. they had it handled!

Good country eating here, don't come with your tight pants on. I had the bbq baked potato and it was enough to feed at least 3 or 4 people! Brisket was pretty decent and the whole thing was smothered in cheese. A LOT of cheese. Wasn't a fan of the hush puppies - they tasted like a prepared mix and were cold but that's the only complaint.
Skip the green beans & coleslaw - get the Mac & cheese!!

This place was recommended to us. We much prefer to visit local, small restaurants to big chains. This did not disappoint! Simple, but very good breakfast. Very friendly staff & quick service. The restaurant isn’t fancy, but it’s clean & comfortable. Will definitely go back if we’re in the area.

Wow the pork pig special sandwich was delicious. I liked the sweet BBQ sauce.The home made Mac & cheese was very good but cold. Fries were hot. Great service from Candice. My 1st time ever there. It's a must stop place when your driving thru Like us. Don't hesitate just go in and enjoy.

We got there as lunch just starting to be served, everything was fresh our sides were mac n cheese, green beans, bbq beans, even the bread is yummy, look at that meat 👀 we have leftovers 😋 Highly recommend pigging out at the pig. #prislandstyle

Ribs, pulled pork and smoked sausage. The bbq sauces were fantastic, ask your server for their special sweet & spicy sauce (they mix for you)

Some of the best country cooking I've ever had! We came on a Sunday and their buffet had fried chicken better than any restaurant around. If you're anywhere near here for lunch, definitely stop by. They said they can get pretty busy here, but the wait will be worth it.

Food and service was great. We are here around 3:30 on a Friday, not busy. Food came out quick and was fresh. Good portions as you can see, coleslaw was how I expected, not the biggest fan of the baked beans. Overall great experience, would go back again.

The Pig has been a Family Favorite for decades. This location does not disappoint. Great service, juicy chicken, flavorful coleslaw, banana pudding with crunch wafers (Perfect! The way it should be!)

I absolutely loveeee the pig the food is amazing with great seasoning on the food. The service they give you couldn't dare complain because they are quick in a timely manner and very sweet ladies.

What better place to go when you're in the back woods of Florida, almost Georgia, with the rest of the hicks. But they have great country food mixed with stuff like fried shrimp. And of course banana pudding, a southern delicacy. I seem to come here everytime I visit from Minnesota. They have a great breakfast too. And a great menu of barbeque items. And you can even get healthy stuff like salads. I had the slaw dog with baked beans and hush puppies. I do love their hush puppies. And the service was great. It may take a year before my next visit but I'm sure I'll be back y'all.

Well I'm afraid nothing really will ever compare to Old Man Moody's BBQ on Highway 17 back in the'80s or Mr Lewis's at hammerhead in the early 90s you got to smoke that meat for at least 15 hours get the smoke ring but in this day and age around here it's pretty good

Small town, so some people aren't as welcoming as others aside from that
the food is always fantastic. Staff are kind stop in every chance I get.

Ate a late lunch on 9/30. Must've changed hamburgers because mine was like a hockey puck. Before they were always patted out fresh. Not good.

Miss my PIG in Orange Park/Middleburg. Happened to be passing thru Callahan and picked up a couple of slabs of ribs. They never disappoint.

If your looking for a small town dining establishment feel with great food, I suggest giving the pig a shot. The staff is very friendly and I've rarely had a case of sitting waiting for service or eating with an empty glass during your whole meal. I've had several meals off their menu but the ribs are phenomenal and by far my favorite thing to order. Unlike a Woody's type rib these are larger meaty ribs that are cooked until nearly that fall off the bone texture and the flavor will have you chowing down like a pig. Unlike many BBQ restaurants this particular location has a twist. They offer an amazing breakfast and brunch buffet. Parking is plentiful and the seating is abundant so there is typically no to little waiting to fill your belly.
