The Glass Knife is one of those places that is a must visit every time we go to Orlando. Their donuts and pastries are some of the best we have ever had! Their seasonal treats are always unique and creative. But one of the things that makes me loyal is their amazing customer service. On a recent trip to Orlando we ordered a large batch of pastries to go. We were about 30 minutes out of Orlando when I got a call from them telling me one of my pastries did not get in the box. They offered to credit my card since we were already outside the city. When I got home I realized there must have been a small box of goodies that didn't make it into the to-go bag so I called them back and let them know figuring they would find them and credit my card back. Not only did they do that but I got a call about 45 minutes from the manager apologizing for the errors because that is unlike his team. This was the only time it has ever happened over the last few years. But he didn't stop there he told me he was leaving a gift card in the register with my name on it for the next time I went to Orlando. One of the ways to know how good a place really is, is based on how they handle a mistake. The Glass Knife showed me what excellent customer service looked like!

The Glass Knife was delightful, from the adorable Christmas decorations to the genuinely sweet employees.

I stopped by with a few friends and we grabbed a handful of the holiday pastries, which were all very delicious. A couple of the smaller cakes (the one with blue icing and the other with the gingerbread man on top) had very good flavors, but were a little too sweet for my taste.

I personally purchased the Peppermint Chocolate Christmas Tree, which was covered in white chocolate, with a peppermint mousse in the center; both were very light and not too sugary. I also got a Peppermint Mocha, which was the perfect blend of peppermint-y goodness and chocolate.

Highly recommend!

I've driven by The Glass Knife many times, and always wanted to stop, but I've never had the time. However, today I did.

I expected something upscale, I guess because of the name and location, but to my surprise, it was just a charming, little, casual cafe. And before I forget to mention it, they love dogs!

I asked the manager what the most popular sandwich was and he recommended the chicken salad sandwich or the BLT, but I decided to go with the pimento cheese, and it was very good, probably the best I've had, and that includes the delicious crispy croissant that comes with it. Soooooooo good!

I also had the potato hash. If I liked spicy, I would've loved it, so I'm not complaining...but it's got some kick. For dessert, I had the Salted Caramel Brownie (I think) which I thought was more like a chocolate mousse with caramel, and it was very yummy, too! All of their desserts look absolutely amazing!

So, the food is wonderful, and the staff and service are unsurpassed. I really enjoyed my lunch and I'm looking forward to going back again soon!

I recommend this place more as a dessert place than anything. The atmosphere is so nice, and the service is good. You have the option of indoor or outdoor seating. If you go for lunch, I recommend the Roasted Turkey Club Sandwich or the BLT. It’s a little on pricey, but worth it.

This place has been on my bucket list for several years, and it was overwhelming (in a good way) to decide on what to get when I had my one opportunity. The breakfast/brunch menu has some amazing options. The spinach mushroom quiche was exceptional; that's all I can say. The drink menu is coffee shop quality. My simple oat milk cappuccino showed off some high-quality espresso. The donut selection is super unique and can stand up to any high-end donut shop. Cranberry orange ginger cake donut was an 8/10, and the caramel apple fritter was a 7.5/10. I wish I could try every single pastry, but sooo many to choose from. The peppermint cookie.. the base alone was perfection -- thick, rich, decadent, slightly salty to balance out the sweetness. The icing wasn't bad either. The onxy pastries almost looked too good to eat. This is probably the best-looking assortment of baked goods I've seen anywhere, and I've explored bakeries in NYC, Paris, etc. It's a super cool space, with cozy booths indoors, a spacious covered patio, and quick/very warm service. This is a must-visit anytime I'm in Orlando from now on.

I’m in the area quite a bit on business. Today business took me there for a cup of coffee with a client. While coffee was the main event, it didn’t mean I didn’t get the opportunity to get a feel for the place. Set in the heart of Winter Park, the Glass Knife certainly has a lot of competition but I felt like they did a pretty good job of rising to the occasion. Not sure of how crowded they are in the early morning hours but they were doing pretty brisk business at 10. The server came by our table a few times with orders for other tables and the food looked wonderful (note to try something next time). The coffee was good and strong, and surprisingly not overpriced!! The service was fine, meaning the server came by to check on coffee levels but was not omnipresent (always nice).

I’m putting The Glass Knife on my list of business breakfast experiences to work on next time I’m up that way on business.

I came here for a cup of coffee and I had this on my to try list and what a treat! I unfortunately did not try the desserts although everyone of them looked like a work of art! $12 for a small one, so it must be delicious! They are all beautifully crafted and you can tell they take a lot of time and pride in their products.
My cappuccino was delicious! The staff there is incredibly friendly and has a very welcoming vibe. It’s unsuspecting inside, because what I thought would be a super upscale bakery, turned out to be a well crafted and comfortable hang out for coffee and a bite. They have cute novelty coffee cups and other little things.
I would highly recommend this place even if for a cup of coffee. I look forward to coming back to try a delectable dessert!

Had a great time at the Glass Knife. The dessert was exquisite and the coffee flavorful. It’s not the cheapest place ($40 for 2 desserts and coffees). However, all food is unique and great. The staff was friendly and atmosphere quiet (which was welcome). We will definitely be back.

Came here on a whim with a couple friends and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a very cute and cozy coffee shop with beautiful desserts. I unfortunately during this visit did not get a dessert but I definitely will next time! The employees were so friendly and even gave us a little history behind all the glass knives they have on display. They also have a cute little Christmas section where you can buy ornaments, etc.
We went around 7pm and it wasn’t busy at all. I’ll definitely be back!

My favorite brunch and dessert spot in Winter Park. We’ve had Atreyu a few times and you can tell he’s really knowledgeable and passionate about the food because he always gives the best recommendations. We had the cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich and the Shashuka, both amazing!

My favorite place to have dessert. The iced matcha latte is delicious and so are all the cakes and pastries. The service is excellent and top notch. I can’t think of any other dessert and brunch place that is this amazing. I will keep coming back.

I donut like to joke around when It comes to sweets! The glass knife was a hole in one! Excellent service and very pretty decor. The vegan doughnut was amazing! Limited vegan breakfast and brunch options but my wife got a tasty avocado toast and I had the quiche. Excellent oatmilk lattes and if I lived closer I would be a regular. Shoutout to our server Atreyu he was courteous and very helpful!

My favorite breakfast place in Orlando. The avocado toast is the best I've ever had. I refuse to try anything else. Their homemade jam and the pickled onions really make it stand out. Reasonably priced mimosas and Riley, our server, is the best. I've had her multiple times, she's very good at her job and always a pleasure. Also the homemade donuts are always different and always delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.

The Glass Knife is such a nice spot! I love it, & their pastries/food/coffee stands up to the reviews. Today we had the grill cheese and tomato soup & let me tell you that tomato soup was probably the best I’ve had. The zebra cake and apple fritter were very good! The quality is amazing. I also had their Iced Lavender Latte which was great as well. A must try spot! 🤌🏼

This place is extremely impressive and neat inside and out. The service is exceptional, and the food options look pretty good. On our visit, we enjoyed some very nicely decorated hot lattes. The Lavender Vanilla Cinammon Latte was amazing!
