Cattywampus Aquatic Adventures

For the past three years we have gone on the cattywampus and each time was excellent! Captain Tony and Christian are great at what they do and will make sure your trip is enjoyable. We were only unlucky once and did not see any dolphins but hey you can't force them to show up. The ride itself and the experience made up for it. We did the noon tour which was perfect.

It was amazing! My family enjoyed the trip and we can’t express the hospitality that was provided! Christian was a great host. He gave us some places to check out after the boat ride and restaurant recommendations.

Such a great experience. The captain and crew were great in explaining everything, including safety details. We saw a couple of pods of dolphins and was able to see them up close. Would recommend!

We had the most amazing time on the afternoon cruise. We went snorkeling and saw plenty of fish and found some really nice shells. Dolphins were coming up all over the boat, so close we could almost touch them. To top it off the Captain let the kids take turns driving the boat. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend to everyone to check it out. Very family friendly oriented.

This was so fun! The captain was very friendly and helpful, making sure everyone felt safe and knew the rules. I liked his laid back style. Good music and a fun time for families or singles (just bring some snacks and drinks and you’re set)!

Take a towel or something to sit on as the seats aren’t cushioned. We just missed a storm so the skies were cloudy, but still managed beautiful colors! We were lucky enough to see a few dolphins, which was a super cool experience!

I would do this again for sure!

What a fun afternoon with Cattywampus! We arrived early to the Gulf restaurant for boarding and enjoyed the beautiful space outside and delicious beverages. Our snorkel/swim spot was great and we found some beautiful shells that I don’t think we could have found anywhere else! After that, we set out to the gulf and saw plenty of dolphins! Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon and would highly recommend to anyone interested in doing one of these tours!

The Cattywampus always provides a wonderful experience! When we travel to that area, it is the first thing we book, when in season. We have been enjoying our adventures with them since 2019 and each and every time has been more than we could have ever imagined. We have mostly ridden on the sunset cruise but have experienced the midday and fireworks ones, as well. All are unique and enjoyable!

Cap and crew always make sure everyone knows what and what not to do to make the trip the best for all on board! From packing your own bring-on- board picnics to dolphin watching to snorkeling to hula hooping or laying out and listening to the perfect wave riding music, you will not find a better way to relax.

It is the perfect experience for couples (young and old), families, and children of all ages!

I highly recommend the evening cruise. The crew was wonderful and treated everyone like we were family. Not only did we have a wonderful evening sunset cruise, but snorkeled, and saw a large pod of dolphins. Thank you Cattywampus Aquatic Adventures!

The captains made this trip so much fun. It was cloudy but we still saw dolphins and my 8 year old loved getting to steer. We had a great time.

The kids and I had so much fun. The crew was great, friendly, and knowledgeable. The day of our excursion was chilly and windy, and they had blankets on the boat to keep everyone warm. My kids found so many unique shells during the snorkeling part of the trip. Would highly recommend.

My family and I had a great time! WE GOT TO SEE A WHALE SHARK!!! The captain heard there was a whale shark in the area, so he took us out to see it. We still stopped to see dolphins on the way back from seeing the whale shark. The crew was great! Captain let the kids steer the boat and the deck hand showed the kids how to hulahoop. My wife and I had a wonderful excursion with Cattywampus. The caption and first mate were awesome. They made everything about the passengers and made sure we all had a great evening. We saw the dolphins we wanted to see and watch the perfect sunset. The only thing we wished was different is that they had had rails that went along the steps that go down into the water. Other than that it was the perfect night. We would definitely recommend this 3 hour tour and we will be back.

Amazing experience! Captain Tony is the best, and his first mate Christian was awesome too! They were so chill, friendly and made it a great afternoon on the gulf! Highly recommend this to anyone - it’s not touristy either, you feel like you’re hanging w friends on a boat! We WILL go back!!! ❤❤

It was a great time and good experience! The boat driver was entertaining and nice. The other worker on the boat was telling us about dolphin behavior and such, pretty interesting knowledge.
The ride was smooth and chill!
The fact that’s it’s as affordable as it is and you can bring your own cooler/drinks is a huge plus.

The ONLY downside was that the water was murky for us during snorkeling. But they can’t control it so I’m not holding it against them.
5/5 still.

Had a wonderful time on the afternoon Cattywampus dolphin cruise. Tony the Captain and Christin were awesome and made the trip very enjoyable. Met some great people from Tennessee. We had perfect weather and had the opportunity to see a few dolphins. It was a great day. I highly recommend.

Kid friendly, great price for a family of 4 (2 kids 2 adults). They provide the snorkeling gear and puddle jumpers and life jackets if needed. The 2 crew guys were great with the kids on board. Antonio even let them steer the boat. Clean bathroom. We saw dolphins and sharks. Everyone was having a good time. Will be back out next trip.

We had a great time! We saw several dolphins and found several seashells when snorkeling. Awesome crew provided everything we needed. There was only 16 of us on the trip, not sure we’d go if it was full but definitely worth it if not too many people.

For the same price as a packed 2 story dolphin cruise you can get a ride on the Cattywampus! The captain and his one man crew were great, snorkeling in the shallow water was great for our kids age 4 to 12 and yes we got to see lots of dolphins right off the boat!

Highly recommend this as an evening adventure.

This is my family’s second time out with the Cattywampus crew and I wish I could give them 10 stars! We went two years ago and had the best time so we booked them again on this trip to Destin and we’re so glad we did! The crew is great and the snorkel spot is so much fun! We found 11 hermit crabs, loads of fish, and a blue crab! We also saw several pods of dolphins (one with a baby dolphin) and two bull sharks! This is the dolphin cruise to choose!

We had an absolutely amazing time on the Cattywampus adventure cruise. The staff was amazing and they made it so much fun for our entire family. Super family friendly! The music is great and we saw lots of dolphins. Love that you could bring your own food and drink. They even have hoola hoops. Tons of fun!
