Gateway to India Longwood

Upon arrival I was greeted graciously by my host Jesse V. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted as it is my favorite Indian cuisine, the Rogan Josh curried lamb. The food arrived steaming hot and was absolutely phenomenal. Over a bed of decadent white rice I poured my curry with a spice so nice! Jesse is a great host and was very friendly and accommodating! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to dine with great food and a warm atmosphere! The smells from the parking lot to the dining area will have you chomping at the bit to get a taste of their food!

The most flavorful curries in Orlando !! The meat super fresh and cooked to perfection in spices, Saffron jasmine rice, thick flavorful curries and the fluffiest naan breads known to mankind! This place is an absolute gem located longwood… I eat here several times a week to the point where they already know me by name and what I’m going to order. After trying multiple Indian Restaurants in the area I have yet to find a better spot to eat this kind of cuisine. This is by far the #1 Indian Food Restaurant in all of longwood and surrounding areas. Quality everytime I’m never left unsatisfied my only complaint is they aren’t open later lol.

Delicious food served fast & presented nicely on a platter. Atmosphere was calm & not noisy like other restaurants can be. Service came with a smile. Extremely happy on my 1st visit & plan to return.

We had such a nice experience at Gateway to India; however, we must disclose that when we came, the restaurant was basically empty so, we had the full service attention on us.

That said, the staff was very friendly and diligent. More importantly, the food was simply delicious. The portions weren’t huge but, they were more than enough to satisfy our appetite.

First time eating here and it didn't disappoint, there was a good variety of curries on the menu from tikkas to vindaloo. I got a Madras, great flavour, went for a hot spice level, but probably should have gone with extra hot as I love a spicy curry.

Delicious food, we really enjoyed the cheese naan bread, the Lamb tikka masala, and the spinach lamb. 100% recommended

Just picked up a takeout. Food was outstanding. Having lived in the UK for 25 years we are used to great Indian food. Good Indian restaurants in Central Florida are very rare, however, Gateway to Indian is excellent. We had Butter Chicken which was delicious. Lamb madras which, unusually, had coconut in it. Not a madras as we are used to but very good all the same. Will definitely be back.

3rd time Here and I love it!! If you're a spice lover make sure to order hot or hotter. Mango lassis are very good also dont be afraid make to order some of there imported beers. Worth a try!!

This place is so amazing. The flavors are beyond magnificent. The waiter was very kind. We were craving Indian food, and we found it by chance. We gave it a try, and now we are definitely going back!. The variety of Naan bread is incredible. My favorite was the garlic naan.Naan. You must get dessert!!!

Would’ve had a picture of the delicious food but it always disappears fast here. The spice levels are perfectly accurate and easy to manage even for beginners.

This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Gateway appetizer which was awesome. The food quality was perfect as we ordered several different curried chicken dishes and the lamb chops. Everything came out with a fabulous presentation and all dishes were hot. The ambiance and the service was excellent. Our servers took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to you. One of our new favorites now..!!

I love it here. The most authentic Punjabi cuisine in all of Orlando.

Very recommended!! A day before we got to Gateaway to India we went to a different Indian restaurant that had great reviews and it was my first time trying Indian food. It was really bad so we paid the bills and left hungry. A day after my friend told me how good the indian kitchen and he insisted that we will go to a different restaurant. The food was amazing the prices were reasonable and the service was great! I am happy I listened to him since I had a great experience at Gateway to India.

Had weekend dinner here with a couple of friends. Suffice it to say, it was a great experience any which way I look at it. Simply loved my malai kofta with tandoori roti. Appetizer platter with pakoras, samosas, and aloo tikki was a great starter. Good job, guys!! I will definitely return.

Ordered the Butter chicken curry, absolute perfectly made 👌. The hot level of spicy is actually very spicy 🔥.

The place is a bit on the expensive side but the food amount and taste is worth it.

This was my first time trying indian food. I got the "Chicken Makhani" (Butter Chicken, mild-medium) with basmati rice and garlic naan. It was really good! The food was fresh, hot, and the customer service was really good. I will def. be back to try more!

Went there on Friday for the first time. Greeted very nicely. Food is great but Mango Lassi is a Must Have! Will definitely return.

MJ and the staff put together a wonderful experience for date night with my wife. The food is amazing. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant any more. Best meal we’ve had in a very long time.

What an amazing place! First off, my 15 year old daughter loved it and that is a miracle by itself. The food is absolutely amazing. Rich and flavorful and plenty of it. The service is spot on. We never waited for a thing. Service fit for a king!!!

I’ve only ordered for delivery but their Tandoori chicken is to die for! Perfect balance of char, with the meat staying tender and moist. The garlic naan and regular naan are also so good!
