I love this place. They have teacher that really take the time to make sure you are grasping the information! If you come ready to learn they will teach you but if you think something will be given to you at your big adult age it’s not going to happen. Every single teacher in the surgical tech program is AMAZING I wish I didn’t have to share them with other campuses but we will survive. Mr.Howard, Mrs.Larson, Ms.Tracey, and Mr Stelian are irreplaceable ❤ this is coming from an actual student not an angry bot.

To whomever this may be useful to,
I attended here 2022-23 for the paramedic program. One of the greatest experiences, with people I will never forget. I drove all the way from Tampa for the quality of education that I had heard about through the grape vine. It was hard and exhausting, but worth it in the end.

There will always be people with issues, but they will always be unhappy with everything and never be able to be pleased. Please do not acknowledge the people who have negative things to say. There will always be bumps in the road and obstacles to overcome. How you overcome them is how you grow as people and and communities.

This school overcomes obstacles with professionalism, patience, and with no judgment. The community that this school creates is a bond that will be with me for a lifetime.

There is one on one instruction, useful and unique teaching techniques, and approachable people. The goal is to be clinicians, not technicians. Human nature not robots. This school does all of these things.

Thank you for reading.

Special shout out to Campus director RJ, EMS Program chair Michael and the instructors, Kianni, Will, Blake and Kevin. Some of the best people I've ever met and the pleasure of learning from

Remember, don't listen to the haters.

City College was a great experience that I would do all over again if I could. I enrolled in the EMT summer program of 2023 between semesters of my Bachelor's degree down at USF. The encouragement and enthusiasm from all the staff makes the commute from Bradenton worth it! The teamwork forged between all of us (students and staff) created bonds that we will never forget. Kianni was the BEST EMT instructor (no disrespect to Kevin or Will, they are also fantastic). She has the gift to teach any learning style and BONUS, her music taste during scenarios was perfection✨ to say the least. Michael is an awesome program chair that will be honest/realistic with your goals and will go above and beyond to help you as long as you have drive and commitment to accomplish those goals! This is a community where you can be yourself and have a support system that will stick with you through thick and thin. Overall, this was such a fun program that I will truly never forget and I would recommend to anyone with an interest in the field :)

I attended the 2022-2023 Paramedics program. It's a hard and exhausting program but worth it at the end. Had excellent instructors, Kevin, Will, Kianni, Blake, program chair Michael. I had difficulty with medication drips dosage and they took extra time to find ways that I could learn it and feel confident with medication drip dosages. Made friends for life also. :)

Had great experience, the EMS program Chair Mr. Mejia went out of his way to help the students achieving a their certificate as a paramedic. He is willing to help students to be more successful EVEN if your a waste of space.
The program chair takes his time to get to know each and every student and their strong points and weaknesses, to help them achieve their ultimate goal of being a PARAMEDIC. The instructors are top notch, Mrs. Torres is amazing teacher. The way she teaches bring fun and excitement to the classes, by bring unorthodox teaching methods to class. Mr. Mizell is amazing and knowledgeable teacher that is extremely quiet and very professional has always took time out of his days to help accommodate students with extra tutoring and lab practicals. Mr. Barker is a formidable advocate for student success. He uses real life experience of being a paramedic for student learning success. He is a great instructor that loves what he does.
The Altamonte campus Director R.J is just an amazing person. He will take his time and correct a mistake/problem that has occurred. He is very approachable and will talk to any student to make them feel more than a student.
Had just amazing experience that I am enrolling into the Nursing program to continue my education. If you see a bad review from my former classmates that mean they did not apply themselves.

The nursing program at the school is amazing!!! It not only challenges you but sets you up for success and delivers you into a challenging field feeling confident and prepared. I'm very happy I chose to attend school here and I look forward to my career in nursing. A huge thank you to Emy Viera, Richard Czenszak and Jose Otero for believing in me and helping me succeed. It's not everyday you leave a school feeling like part of a family. This school really does care about the students success and continues to help and provide resources even after graduating. They constantly made sure I was ready to sit for my boards and provided endless resources even after my last day at the school. You're not just a number here which is hard to say these days.

I am 19 days away from graduating the Nursing Program and I could not be more thankful for the experience. Professor Viera has CHANGED, and I mean CHANGED the program. We have not only hands on lab, clinicals, virtual labs, but the current professors are available to talk and help you along the way.

Nursing School is hard, don't forget that, or think it's easy. But if you put in the hard work and dedication you will succeed. The professors will see the hard work you put in and help you suceed.

Trust me, this school wants you to pass your NCLEX and will help you to do it!!!

i just completed my LPN to RN transition at City College. Thanks to the small classroom and the personalized attention, I was able to pass my boards on the first try with only 75 questions!
For anyone wondering if they can still work and go to nursing school, its tough, but possible. It will likely be the toughest thing you'll do in your entire life, but if you put 100% effort in it, you'll succeed! Our class schedules always make it possible for me to still keep my full time job and support my family while in school.

As a attending student here at City College in the business program, I had the chance to further my goals and my life. Though it's not always perfect the staffing makes it possible for each and every student to fillful there dreams and make there goals possible. If it wasn't for RJ in admissions I would have never been able to figure out the process to go to school, he really cares about each student and takes the time to walk you through everything step by step(no other college does that). Thank you guys again for changing my life and making my dreams possible.

City college is a great college, im currently a nursing attending the college, all I can say is great things, they care about you and the most important thing it is a small school, you get all the attention you need from your instructor. If you think its a private school you will be getting easy grades, then go somewhere else cause they don't take C's, only B's and up and you have to work for it. Actually PJ one of the admission counselor is awsome he is the coolest admission advisor you could ever ask for, He would help you with small things that would make you remember the school. My battery did after night class and he stayed late and helped me restore the battery until it was safe to go home. I really appreciate that. The staff is nice. Miss Donata Johnson too OMG that woman is amazing she is the dream admission advisor you could ever ever ask for. Well I recommend City College to everyone who would like to persue a carreer.

I recently took a tour here at City College and was very satisfied with my experience. I was guided by the wonderful Ms. Yolene, who was very helpful and straight forward with me in the most respectful and loving way. I ask a lot of questions and she literally answered every question that I had and if she couldn't she directed me to the person who could. There were no secrets. This college is very clean and everything is in order it is NOT overcrowded and nasty at all. Unlike the school I go to now this College, from the things that are presented in the classroom are VERY VERY VERY hands on. The equipment that they have is up to date and very professional, they also supply you with everything you need. Unfortunately because I am moving a couple of hours away I won't be able to attend this college which sucks. BUT!!! because I was guided in the right direction by Yolene I was able to make a decision about the right career in EMS. So my overall experience was amazing I was blown away by the things I saw and everything this college offers. People like Ms. Yolene are here to lead you to success this is exactly what I wish I had before going to the school I am currently at now. So thank you so much Ms. Yolene for giving me truth and guidance. I really appreciate your time and what you did for me.
