The Magnolia

This restaurant is amazing! We ate the most delicious breakfast and the service was impeccable. Wonderful place to eat and relax, everyone was so nice. Beautiful place too. We will be back soon! I would give this restaurant 10 stars!

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning at The Magnolia. We both ordered Classic Benedicts. One with a side of home fries and the other with grits. We each enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee with our meals. The dining room was bright and cheery. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Wow! There are just so many great things to say about this place. From the moment we entered, I noticed the quaint decor and cleanliness of the Magnolia Cafe. The menu items were a little pricey for a small town like Palatka, but I promise you won't be disappointed. The portions are large, and the food was cooked to perfection. Our server, Jamie, was the best server I have ever had! He was engaging, cheerful, and had a wonderful sense of humor. We absolutely loved him!

Great small town, main street cafe with freshly prepared favorites that have a contemporary twist. Ample seating in a relaxed atmosphere and great customer service. They also serve a variety of fresh coffee drinks that are excellent.

This was our first time to experience The Magnolia. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast to include their delicious coffee, the Southern
Benedict and the Croque Madame. The employees were professional and kind. They all made for a welcoming environment. The food was exceptional and the portions large. A take home container was needed. We look forward to trying their lunch menu.

The Magnolia is a very clean and welcoming restaurant in historic downtown Palatka.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed a delicious omelette with sides and a cup of coffee. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It was a very enjoyable experience and I look forward to returning someday.

This is my favorite place to eat at in Palatka. Just go you will love everything about it.

I enjoy motorcycling as part of the attraction is stopping in smaller communities and finding gems like the Magnolia. I had the wild mushroom omelette with home fried and brisket. Very tasty and the coffee was dark, hot, and plentiful. Staff was very friendly and service was great. I will be back with my wife to let her enjoy brunch on the weekend!

Extra great service, unique menu. The staff is great; they let me bring my e-bike inside for charging. Not many are that kind. A must visit!!

I was invited down to Palatka to have lunch with a good friend. The food was delicious! I had the Reuben and it was more than enough for two meals. The kitchen staff did everything to ensure that my special requests were right. (FYI: Pasta Salad is mayonnaise based). My friend had the curry chicken croissant which is a favorite. The food had that farm-to-table appearance and great taste. Fantastic service!

We were finishing a girls' weekend, and it was the perfect ending. Our server welcomed us so warmly. He was very patient and attentive. He asked if we had any questions or needed suggestions. He wasn't pushy at all. The food came out quickly and was so good! So much food I got to bring stuff home for my husband. Can't wait to take him there. Definitely our new breakfast spot!

What a wonderful breakfast spot. We stayed at the city pier and had a great breakfast. The avocado toast was awesome!

The food and atmosphere here is amazing, and the service was excellent. I had an iced mocha to start, and it was rich, creamy, and flavorful but not too sweet. It had a perfect touch of cinnamon. For brunch, I had the French omelet, cheese grits, and a biscuit with a side of sausage gravy. My wife had the French toast. All of the food was DELICIOUS, and I can’t wait to come back for more! Next time I visit Palatka, The Magnolia will be the first place I go. 5/5 for customer service, atmosphere, food, and coffee!

My absolute favorite spot for brunch. I don't even mind driving from St. Augustine to this little gym. I highly recommend the county line hash and the French toast. I haven't tried anything else because I'm so addicted to those two dishes. The sides are always exceptional as well. This place will not disappoint.

Well, there are few places that compare to this one favorably. The food, service, and environment were simply outstanding. Probably the most attentive wait staff I have ever encountered. 3 of us each had something different to eat and we all agreed the food was amazing. Such nice folks and an awesome experience!!!!!

A surprising find in the gastronomic wasteland of Palatka. After seeing a previous reviewer complain this cafe has no microwave, we were excited to try a new place that appeared to serve high quality food. Our very knowledgeable and professional waitperson advised the food is locally and organically sourced which was an additional plus. We were not disappointed at all. The lunch was yummy, atmosphere pleasant, menu has numerous vegan/vegetarian options and parking easy nearby. Our only complaint is that Magnolia is not open for dinner. As Foodies from Asheville, it is sometimes a challenge to find a good quality restaurant in a small town when on the road. Great Find!

This place is great! I usually don't leave reviews, but this is the exception. I got the corned beef hash, and my wife got the magnolia Benedict. The bread and jelly were very good and gave a homemade taste. The portions were good and hardy, and the service and atmosphere was impeccable!

As a farm-to-table scratch chef of over 33 years, it’s safe to say that I’m pretty particular when it comes to the food I eat.
The place is very unassuming from the outside, making it easy to pass by unnoticed, but you don’t want to fail to stop in.
Inside the place is very a very charming, modern and cozy mix of decor, but more importantly it is spotless clean.
The very first taste to impress was the decaf coffee. I can’t have caffeine, and getting a good decaf out is nearly impossible, so I was very happy to be served a fresh cup of joe that had a full-bodied flavor and didn’t taste of chemicals.
I ordered the Benedict because I knew I would be the most critical about the hollandaise, which I’ve been making since I was 10. Traditionally it is made with egg yolks, butter, and lemon juice, but some folks use vinegar, which is the case here. And they add a little mustard. It’s not the way I make it, but it’s still quite good and I would order it again, which says a lot.
My husband got the corned beef hash, which is scratch-made and very well seasoned. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, as they were on mine.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants exceptionally well made scratch food, with incredible service by all of the staff. A very good find!
