Save A Lot

This grocery store has good prices. They have some name brand groceries but it seems the majority is store brand. I’ve tried many of the store brand items, most are good, but some aren’t. You just have to give them a try.

Always greeted by very nice employees. I'm disabled and all I have to do is put my big grocery bag on the sliding gadget, they take out and scan my items, and always put my groceries back in my bag and place the bag onto the back of my power chair. They never disappoint me. Prices are great too!

Although the store is not huge and consequently it's selections are limited, if they have what you want, their selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is small, not offering too many varieties. It's selection of meats is usually very good especially when you can catch a sale. Their stock is limited but their prices are really very good and if you are someone like me, who appreciates saving money and does not care about paying extra for labels or brands this grocery store serves my limited purposes. It is no stretch of the imagination a specialty store or a modern supermarket. But you cannot beat the prices.

Good a low price store to shop in.

It's a discount chain grocery store. It's a good place to save money on groceries. The store was clean and produce looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. You must provide or pay for your own bags. Or you can use any empty packaging boxes they may have. Bring a quarter if you want to use the shopping carts. You get your quarter back when you return the cart to it's proper place.

Had sale items clearly marked and adequate stock on hand.

I love shopping here. They have their own store brand items and some of the brand name favorites but all of their stuff is good! The prices are cheaper than just about all the other stores. They even have Tyson chicken in their meat department! The lines to checkout can be long but so is everywhere else. Overall one of my favs!

Save-A-Lot carries Florida grown fruits and vegetables. You have a great selection and wonderful sale items. The cashiers are always very nice. Just remember to bring your own bags but you can buy bags from them. it's their way of keeping the cost down.

I live right down the street from the store and woke up the other night from a nap with a hankering for blueberry muffins.
They have 3 kinds of blueberry muffins in the bakery section.. . Perfect.

Affordable prices. Helpful store staff. A breath of fresh air, during challenging times!

I was so happy to find a Save A Lot in Palatka. I moved to North Florida from Central Florida and previous shopped at Save A Lot in Deland and enjoyed the savings. Since moving I was horrified at the prices at the 2 local grocery's. I thought why would food be higher here than in Deland? I'm in the middle of nowhere. Why? The price difference in the local stores , Hitchcock's and Harvey's was extremely higher than the Deland stores. I was pleasantly surprised to find my regular reasonable prices in the Palatka Save A Lot. Totally worth the drive from Hawthorne. Oh and the cashier was friendly and considerate .

Love the store just wish we had one in Interlachen, Florida! People are helpful and the bargains feed us in these hard times!

Good prices most of the time. Most staff not very friendly. Store has cleaned up since Aldi is coming to town. I prefer Aldi myself. Better selection & prices. I will continue to shop both

Helps me save more for my budget. Compare Cheerios Peanut Butter cereal for $2.69 verses $4.19 at Publix, Winn Dixie, and Wal-Mart give or take a couple of pennies. That's an amazing difference in price.

Lots if improvements since my last visit. The store is organized and clean. Very good prices.

Good selection and good prices. Small store but they have good sales on all of the items in the store, it gets pretty busy especially on the weekends. It's easy to see and access from the main road.

Save A Lot is a good place to go for cheap and easy meals as well as meats they tend to be lower priced and easier to navigate than Walmart for most items making them the budget minded person's best friend

We love Save-A-Lot the people there are very nice the prices are great the only thing is they wouldn't slice my ham for me today but I'll slice it myself but we love Save-A-Lot hard right place
