Anchor Academy - Longwood

I think anchor academy closed, and is under new management, but the new school seems to be run by a very thoughtful, kind and thorough new Director.

Excited to be a part of the school community.

I love love love this place I was at horrific Primrose academy and my son was always hurt and no one could tell me why so it was a heaven sent when we found this place all the teachers are experienced they are not 19 yr olds running a class room. The place is super child friendly my son loves it here. Since dropping him off he has never cried he goes to hug the teacher and he walks right in it’s from night to day with this school. And I’m super pleased. It’s so bright and colorful it catches the kids eyes they have a science room, theater room for when it rains I would choose this place over primerose any day I never have to worry about my son not eating or getting hurt.

Poor communication. Beautiful facility but very poor communication.

Plenty of incidents, including my child. Sometimes they don't give you a report if your kid has an injury. My child came home few times sad and frustrated because of the way my child was treated.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I am sure the school will ask for voluntary people to leave a review since I am rating this school so low.

This school has poor communication. In the beginning the make you feel welcome to get your money then they don’t fully explain details dealing with how the fees are charged if your child doesn’t attend school for the week. What happened to being honest and respectful.

You shouldn’t focus on making a dollar because your school enrollment is low.

The teachers don’t pay attention to your child. Incidents happen like your child getting bit and they will not report it. Other worse scenarios as well. This school also reaches out to Google and removes bad reviews, or honest reviews. Your child is not safe here. They only care about the money.

Literally the most unsafe place for a child, I’d sooner let my kid wander the streets alone then let him attend one more day here, it’s basically the same thing. If you love your kid and their safety, then please find another school.
