La Kuma Coffee

I love love love this coffee shop. The Japanese drip coffee is so good! I also love getting their butter cookies whenever they haven’t run out. I also appreciate the coffee ice cube they put in my coffee so it doesn’t dilute the flavor. The minimalist aesthetic and the right amount of sunlight just helps me clear my mind and enjoy my blessings as I sip my iced coffee on a fine weekend afternoon.

This is a brand new coffee house across from the Longwood First Baptist Church on 434. The coffee is very good and the owners are friendly. La Kuma has only been open for a day. Very nice inside with a phonograph for musical enjoyment. Come support this unique and wonderful addition to the world of coffee!

Came here with my partners and what a gem! We each enjoyed our drinks which were picked by a game with the gatchapon machine! (Like a kids toy or gumball machine). The barista, Richard, was great. Offering to add any additional flavors to our drinks or swap out our drinks if we didn’t like the mystery choice! Playing the mystery game also seems like you save a little bit of money only paying 4 dollars for whatever medium sized drink you get. They sell super cute reusable cups and collection items. The atmosphere is amazingly cozy. Bring your own Kuma-Chan bear to enjoy it with. Your bear friend will be sure to enjoy the outing with you!
(Yes even if you are an adult!! The world is too crazy now to care what people think about stuffed animals)

Beautiful shop, very peaceful, and elegant in its simplicity. It’s not cluttered, very light, and so calming. Loved the cheesecake!

I absolutely adore this quaint place. It doesn't look like it belongs in the area, but I'm sure glad it's there. The inside is bright and clean, no fuss, minimalist, relaxing. The coffee doesn't need cream or sugar. The staff is great. A hidden gem off busy 434.

Super cute coffeeshop in Longwood! Love the vibe and decor in the place. Full of light and welcoming. Had an awesome almond milk latte with lavender. Definitely will be going back!

This place is super cute. Can't believe it's in Longwood. I got delicious cappuccino to go but looks like a great study/work spot. I want to try the desserts next time.

Lovely little coffee shop. I ordered the Japanese ice drip, which was very smooth and flavorful. I normally drink my coffee with milk and sugar, but this coffee tasted good black. I also got the matcha mousse. The space itself is bright and airy. This is a nice place to set up with your laptop and work all day.

The coffee, tea, and desserts here are all excellent and served in a clean and modern setting with a few cute touches. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is also the perfect place to go if you like everything and are indecisive! You can buy a token for the capsule machine that has various menu items written on slips of paper inside the capsules. It's a fun way to choose a drink at random. Anyone I've recommended La Kuma Coffee to has loved it, too!

The atmosphere is so nice and relaxing. They have some of the best balanced coffees I've had in Orlando. Justin is very informative on the coffee and friendly. Love this place!

Great place to hangout in a rather boring part of town. I'll be coming here often with my friends. Also the coffee has an upscale feel with attention to detail at affordable prices.

Nice little coffee spot in Longwood. I ordered a cappuccino and it tasted great. I was greeted when i entered and was provided great customer service. I would like to return to try their japanese iced coffee.

Super relaxing and beautiful place with tons of sunlight. The variety of drinks are unique and taste super smooth, and are inexplicably somehow reflective of the atmosphere.

Amazing coffee! Perfect relaxation spot to get the best coffee I've ever had. I stopped in to get a post-lunch espresso and with the owner's recommendations I ended up with the best cup of flavored espresso ever created, and most potent too! I cant recommend this establishment enough. I just wish they opened a little earlier, I'd definitely wake up a few minutes early to enjoy an awesome cup of coffee and start my day in the relaxed and comfortable environment he's created before work, it'd really set the mood for the day.

Lovely coffee shop. The atmosphere, service and coffee are all first rate. I tried the Ethiopian coffee as a pour over. It was excellent. Their signature double-filter cold brew was really nice. Served with a giant cube of COFFEE ice in it. Such a good idea. Gives the drink a little extra kick.

Wonderful atmosphere and the employees are very, very helpful and knowledgeable about their coffee. They had answers to all my questions and they offered me samples of their Japanese style coffee. There were two different types of the Japanese style coffee, a lighter flavored one and a heavier flavored one. They serve them black or with cream and flavored syrup. Their hot coffees come with whipped cream and chocolate, depending on which one you order (my mother had the hot mocha). They also have a decent tea selection. I definitely suggest this place to anyone who thinks places like Starbucks are good, because Starbucks doesn't even compare to this place. La Kuma is fantastic. It's a cozy little place off 434 that sits under a canopy of oak trees, and again, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who even remotely enjoys coffee.

Amazing real coffee and the cutest little shop with some good desserts. The gentleman at the counter was super sweet and even gave us a breakdown on how the drip coffee is made everyday. Nice and quiet inside for getting some work done! Highly recommend

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Kindest, Japanese staff with top notch coffee and Japanese deserts made on site. The location itself is clean, bright and inviting. Some coffee shops look nice, but don't really make you feel like you can stay and hang out all day—La Kuma is inviting and feels like home.

If you are a craft coffee person this is a great place to experience some coffee sourced from Asia. The drinks are crafted with care even when they are super busy!

Super calm and modern feeling environment. Staff was friendly and even took the time to explain the brewing techniques used in the store. The matcha latte was incredible. My buddy got the Japanese iced drip and loved it. Better than starbucks, and with competitive prices that make this place great to go to and hang out if you're in the area.
