Papa Joe's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

I visited yesterday and had Gnocchi. It was one of the best Gnoccis I tried.
I was hoping to find Braciole on their menu. Perhaps next time I visit, I get lucky to meet Papa Joe and ask him about it. Michael, our server, was very nice. I really recommend this place 100%

Excellent pizza but they did not put Hardly any sausages on the pizza the Pizza taste just like New York pizza. loved the taste the young lady in the front was amazing very kind and helpful i will return hopefully ill get more sausage 🤣

My daughter had told me that this restaurant was good. I had a business dinner here. It reminded me of the Italian restaurants in New England where I grew up, it was very good. I would definitely visit again.

We traveled from Apopka to Papa Joe’s and enjoyed salsa, appetizers, and an entree. The food is always very tasty and the service is amazing. Treat yourself and go!

I ordered the lunch special- two slices of pepperoni, salad, and drink. It was very good. There was a lot of oil coming off the pizza, a sure indicator that they use fresh pepperoni. The sauce and cheese were top notch and the dough was baked to perfection.

My wife ordered the chicken piccata on a bed of spaghetti. It was amazing! I was really impressed with the flavor of their sauce. It also came with garlic bread, the butter on the bread tasted like it was not fresh. Not bad, but slightly off. She didn't notice because she was dipping it into the piccata sauce.

We shared a cannoli and slice of chocolate cake. They were both excellent.

There was only one person serving and she was doing a good job keeping up, but as additional customers came in she could have used more help. We never had to wait for her, she is very good at her job.

Even with two desserts, we spent a lot less for lunch than we would have for breakfast at any of the nearby restaurants.

First time to this location. It was a great atmosphere, fast and friendly service from our waiter Antwon. Antwon was on point from the moment we sat down. He was always a step ahead of what we needed wether it was refills or more napkins. The food was delicious!!!

Shout out to Ms. KIM and the COOKS! For such an amazing service and Delicious, Authentic Food!!!! Ms.Kim was such a pleasure! Funny lady! Her recommendations were on point! Authentic NY style pizza! Ms. Kim had us try their Calamari! OMG! So delicious. Airy crisp, lightly breaded! No fishy scent. And that Marinara sauce!!! Wow! Very refreshing.. not acidic! Thanks Ms. KIM! GREAT COOKS! Thanks guys! Hands down will be a favorite local spot!

Real Italian thin crust pizza with a delicious crispy yet fluffy crust... all around very good pizza.... WE WILL RETURN AGAIN SOON.... TY TY TY

Never a disappointment, food is fantastic. Staff is great. It does get busy at times but it's worth the wait. Best pizza joint in town hands down!

I’m a passing thru truck driver I parked at the rest area southbound. Found this on google maps and rode my foldable electric bike here via the bike trail and a few sidewalks. Worth the trip, friendly waiter and food was good. Try the calzone it was great. The only part that sucked was the thunderstorm that I had to ride thru going back. keep the rubber side down

Omg!!! I stopped by as it’s close to my house. I figured why not give it a try? To surprise the Tiramisu is the best I’ve had in years and the Lasagna was delicious.

Would give them a 5 but one employee wouldn't let me leave with a beer. I told him this was Florida and it's the law to allow me to take a beer. He said not on my watch. Well last time I checked I'm the customer. Anyways always great pizza and Joe is a nice man.

The pizza has always been tasty their New York cheese cake is good too ! I went there for years miss the place .

Pizza and Stromboli are so good!!! Cant get enough of this place. Beat pizza we have had in Florida by far.

First visit for my wife and I, so naturally, we had to try out their pizza 🍕

The restaurants is very clean and the interior decor is so nostalgic especially for those who grew up in the big apple.

This is the best pizza/Italian food in Central Florida, possibly the whole state. Not only is the pizza amazing, but so is everything else on the menu. The shrimp always taste so fresh. Dining is definitely the best way to experience the food however, we do get a lot of Togo and it’s still great. Ive called them without notice to feed a family of 40, Togo, on a weekend evening, and they came through. I have family that flys in from North Carolina and this is the first restaurant they want to eat at. Popa Joe has good vino available, get a couple bottles and it’s a fantastic dinner. Love these guys!

This is an authentic Italian restaurant with the best shopping places near by and they also serve alcohol. Get the best Stromboli or Super sub (Italian) in Altamonte on the way to the springs or beach.

We just moved into the area and wanted Fettuccine Alfredo. Not knowing the area well, I pulled up local Italian restaurants. Papa Joe's showed up first. We decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Fantastic food, great service (Renee?), and comfortable & casual atmosphere. Broccoli fettuccine alfredo and the chicken marsala were cooked to perfection. Excellent selection of wine. Ladies, not only can the guys in the kitchen cook but they're easy on the eyes, too..hehehe. Can't wait to meet Papa Joe in person one day. We've been told he's quite the legend and can cook up a storm on Friday nights.

This the best pizza in the state. Family owned for years. Fairly priced and worth every penny.

Visit this place for lunch all the time. Best pizza and the staff is always friendly.
