B & J's Steaks & Seafood

We were on a road trip and stopped in for lunch. This place is very pricey but it smelled good when I entered so I ordered anyway. That food is worth every dime. That fish sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the crunch on the crust was everything! They give you LARGE portions. The food was prepared fresh and given to me hot. If I lived closer I’d be a regular! They offer a buffet if you have time to spend with them.

The food is delicious. I had hamburger steak, baked potato, and salad. Very good. My party also ordered surf and turf and blackened shrimp. They loved the shrimp but said steak wasn't that good. The fried shrimp is the best shrimp I've ever eaten anywhere. So fresh. Portions are large. The staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

It was amazing, I have the Fried Shrimp and Fried Oysters platter, it was loaded with seafood, very fresh and seasoned. Make sure you bring a jacket cause it is freezing cold in there.

Simple down home goodness - the fried oysters were awesome and worth the trip to Darien.

B & J’s is an an amazing place for seafood. We just happened to see it on my map as we were headed north. Just a quick stop off of 95. It was Friday night which meant all you can eat seafood bar and it won’t disappoint. I can’t believe I didn’t take any pictures, but the ones already posted are a very good representation. The portion size is incredible. A large plates filled to overflowing. Not to be a glutton, but if you love seafood, this is at its best. The locals are very lucky to have this place to enjoy. We will be back.

Excellent seafood with large portions. We didn't go for the buffet nights, but it won't leave hungry regardless. One of the best seafood restaurants in all of Georgia. It doesn't look like much, but the food is what matters and you'll know it's good when your see the parking lot!

My dad is a local and we were visiting, this is where he decided to take us for my birthday dinner. We went on Friday evening so they had the seafood buffet and it was INCREDIBLE! The scallops, shrimp, baked fish, pasta, clams, crab balls everything was absolutely delicious!! You can also do an unlimited snow crab add on which we did and it truly was a feast! I didn't eat much salad but they also have an incredible salad bar. Everything was clean and the buffet was well taken care of, constantly being replenished. We came at 4:30pm which was perfect because by 6pm it was packed so I recommend coming early. If you are here Friday or Saturday definitely come try their buffet. I could go just for the scallop basket though because those scallops were life changing!! Also service was really great. I can't wait to come back everytime I visit!

The is a hidden gem right off of I-95 near Brunswick, GA. So me of the freshest seafood I have ever had and the portions are huge. I had the blackened shrimp basket with coleslaw which comes with 1/2 lb of shrimp. Others in my party had the the fried shrimp basket and the fried oyster basket, all portions come with one side and a piece of toast. You can substitute toast with hush puppies for about $2. My daughter got a cheeseburger and it was massive and very good! There are many locals eating here and the place was full but we got a table for 5 in about twenty minutes. The prices are. Wry reasonable which is about $10-$15 per person. Definitely make a plan to stop here, you won’t be disappointed!

I’m a very picky eater and my shrimp had, for me, too much lemon pepper seasoning on it but next time I will ask for no seasoning. My husband’s fried shrimp was the best we have had in this area. I even loved it! We love our hush puppies and have lived in this area for seven years and have struggled to find good hush puppies until B&J. They were moist and DELICIOUS!! The server and all the employees were amazing and so attentive to us. This picky eater will definitely go back! If you haven’t visited B&J Steak and Seafood, Darian, you should definitely go,

Delicious, fast service for table of seven and very friendly. Portions are above generous for the price. Crab legs clusters are five to a plate. ENJOYED EVERYTHING

I live in NC. I was visiting friends in Jacksonville, Florida. I drove 2.5 hours to B&J's in order to meet part of my military family for dinner. The drive was worth every mile! The food and service were great. Don't be discouraged at the building! I will definitely be back!

This seafood/country food buffet was excellent! No frills here, but excellent service and good food. Large portions.

You will always be greeted with a smile and a ice cold southern sweet tea. All you can eat crab legs on the weekend and delicious local seafood on the menu and the buffet every day. I love that I stumbled across this very unique local place and I look forward to returning again and again

Sorry starving and ate " my pictures " stopped traveling north because of billboard. They have a nice country buffet..but we ordered a local shrimp flounder combo to go fried okra/homemade slaw. WOW. Couldn't be fresher and very generous portions for the price. We split it and was more than enough. The adorable young lady who took our togo order was perfect!! Extra sauces..utensils..plenty of napkins even made us a large lemon water togo. GREAT EXPERIENCE. Packed with the locals so we knew we picked the right place!!

Very quaint and tight quartered for eating, you enter and sit where you want, picnic table style, offer a buffet, and along with menu. Food was excellent, and service was super. Restrooms small, not well maintained, and not ADA standards. 5 Star rating $$ to $$$ depending what you order.

Really fun time - Excellent food, excellent service. Non pretentious place. Food came out fast too! We had half blackened half fried shrimp (both were amazing). Best hush puppies out there. A perfect Saturday night!

Great little seafood and southern style food. They have a buffet, or you can order off the menu. Popular in this area. Extremely reasonable price for excellent seafood.

This gem is a couple of miles off of 95 and worth the trip. I had the fried shrimp basket with French fries. The shrimp was off the boat fresh. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. I'm in town for work for a few weeks and will definitely be back to try the other menu items. Stop reading this review and just go in already you won't be disappointed.

This is a small seafood restaurant excellent food and great service!!! This place takes pride in serving its fresh locally caught fish & shrimp!!! It's a 5-minute drive off of I-95(a easy can't get lost drive) and we always stop in here while traveling. Darien is a beautiful laid-back fishing community, sitting right on Georgia's coastal low country!!! Its very scenic. I love it!!!

This was my first time here. They have really good seafood. Mostly fried dishes. The shrimp and oysters tasted really fresh. The service was awesome and very attentive. Come with a big appetite. The prices are super reasonable. If you get there past 6 on a Friday night be prepared to wait a little bit for a table.
