Pelican Landing Grill

OMG! This place is amazing...I love their Crawfish Bisque. All the food is fantastic. But my favorite is the Crawfish Bisque. This is a must try. The staff are so nice. They make sure you feel like family.

Met with a couple good friends at Pelican Landing Grill for dinner. As always food and company was fantastic. Catherine and Tom Mungall, you made our night, we really enjoyed the company. Our server, Jessica made sure our visit was special and made sure all our needs were met and the Hostess, Amy also made sure everything was good in between seating others as they came in. Tommy Laroze, thank you so much for everything. Mikie Laroze, the food was as always, perfect.

I decided to eat local and tried a place that I've been wanting to try, I'm embarrassed to say this, for years and finally gave it a geaux today. What a fool I am for waiting this long to try a place right in my own backyard. I got the 10oz ribeye with a twice baked potato... Also got a house side salad and I just had to try the soft shell crab. This was my weekend treat by the way, but everything was AMAZING!! My steaks are very delicious, lol, but I always give credit when I can find a steak just as good as mine. The soft shell crab was so good, and the twice baked potato was delicious as well. They have an intriguing looking menu, with a lot of other treats, that I definitely want to try in the near future!!

Small business with excellent food. You will wait if they are busy, but the food is worth it. Fried and grilled seafood options, huge salads, and the specialty burgers are amazing.

The food was great and most of all the staff was tremendous! I held a dinner party for my mother's birthday and the ladies were very accommodating. I really want to thank the staff for making my mother's birthday a success.

I was there on Monday Feb 2, 2015. I was pleased to see how crowded it was with so many plant workers there. I ordered 3 different appetizers and was very impressed. The spinach dip had a great kick to it and the fried bowtie pasta was great for dipping. The potato skins and the fried mozzarella were also delicious. Service was good and my waiter was extremely attentive. I will be returning!!!

Since the food style is listed as Cajun (and it is), I had no idea the burgers would be so creative. Excellent burger menu. Not a thrown-on afterthought for the one friend who doesn't like Cajun food. A burger enthusiast created these. My favorite burger spot within 20 miles.

If you have not eaten here you are missing out on one of the best restaurants in Ascension parish. My wife and I have eaten here regularly for the past few years and it is definitely my favorite. Their fried seafood, especially the fish is nothing short of awesome. Their twice baked potatoes are addicting and in my opinion the best side item on the menu. Everything I have eaten here has been awesome. The fried seafood is my favorite, but if you haven't eaten their Cajun Jambalaya Pasta you are really missing out on one of the great wonders of the world.

The food is great here. The staff are very accomodating. I eat here frequently with co-workers and my family and I order take-out frequently. I also had an church event here and the staff was great with our large party of 30.

We will definitely return to the restaurant for more private events.

Good food, great atmosphere! The food was amazing! We had the fried sausage appetizer, it was delicious. But the fried softshell crab was fried to perfection and was seasoned perfect. I highly recommend this place

Pelican Landing Grill was far beyond my expectations. The burger was so delicious but I would have probably have eaten the bun by itself. The onion rings were also fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was also very nice.

Love this place! Always stop here when I'm in Gonzales. I love the burgers and onion rings! They have the best bread pudding I have ever eaten!! The food and service is always great!!
