Just had the fried oyster spaghetti here and I don't even know what to say about it it was that good! We were in line at Roux and Brew and decided to skip the line and come over to this place and it's my new favorite spot! Do yourself a favor Ponchatoula and get your butt down here right now for the best food in town! 💯

LOVED IT. That's really all I can say. The food was great, yes, but the service.. We had a fabulous waitress, Andy, who I felt like was just so genuine and kind. She told us she helped put a lot of little details into the restaurant, and they didn't go unnoticed.
The wine list was expansive, but we accidentally stumbled upon this place on the way back from a football game, so we weren't really looking to try a bottle of wine. The two glasses we did get of Cab and Chianti were very good, by Andy's recommendations.
I had the Blue Crab Ravioli and I ate it all. It was very fresh and the sauce was very light. My fiancé's dish was not something I would order, but he said it was very good. It was the Blackened Shrimp Linguini. I can't describe the flavor really, other than sweet and vinegary. It had apples in it and gorgonzola. He's much more food adventurous than I, so if that's your thing- there's your dish. We also had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious; although I wish they had already been halved because cutting them took me longer to eat them LOL.
Andy was sweet enough to snap a few pics of us, and even one from outside the restaurant because she insisted it was picture perfect (She was right. It was!)
The only thing I had to say that I would do differently, but this is just my opinion, is to change out the checkered red and white table cloths. I get the idea behind it, but I felt they were more lunch appropriate. Maybe more of Italian café style for lunch, then dinner is more formal. I only say that because the look of the table cloths cheapens the aesthetic, and the prices on the menu suggest otherwise. That was really the only thing that caught my eye. Everything else was fabulous, and although we absolutely adore Cena in Hammond, I can see us working Paolo's into the rotation as well. We're excited to go back!

Thank you for the experience but the cook or chef needs some help with flavors and seasoning. Disappointed

Table of 4 took 25 minutes to receive a Diet Coke and 3 old fashioneds the place had 5 tables seated most were 2 tops. Bread was partially frozen in center, French onion bread bowl soup had two spoonfuls of soup in it at most, calamari super salty. We left didn’t even waste money on entrees. Go to roux and brew if you’re in the area and want food or drink.
