The lemon tart is so light and delicate and absolutely heavenly. If you've not tried their pastries you're not living your best life. Go there, eat one of everything and you'll be a better person for it. Every time I go and try something different and I am blown away. The quality of ingredients and the flavors are divine!

Adding to the already glowing reviews of this outstanding Northshore bakery. Born and raised in New Orleans, this place has the best king cake. I think about it all year. Light and fluffy, pastry style with just enough sweetness to keep you coming back for more (without getting sick of the sugar). Their almond croissants are little slices of heaven. Perfectly done quiches, pastries. Really awesome guava hand pies and specialty brisket dishes. Try the breakfast sandwich, yesterday. You know those artful meals that reset you as a human being? The ones that make you reflect on the good things in life simply by tasting them? This place does that for me. When I go in to Tournesol I get the sense that I could be anywhere in the world. I'm so glad we have you here on the Northshore.

Take your pick, it’s all executed beautifully with great technique. We are lucky to have this bakery in our neighborhood. From Munich to Los Angeles- if you’re looking for daily bread, look no further.

Excellent pain de campagne et croissants. Worth the trip from Mandeville to get good bread. Have not tried the desserts but look good. Demi baguettes are good too. Place is nice inside, clean and spacious.

Most friendly place in Covington. Delicious sweets, breads and dishes. Their croissants and other goodies are fresh and tasty. By far the best bakery on the Northshore

I always saw this place driving by and decided to stop in today. BIG MISTAKE only because everything is DELICIOUS!!! The cruffin with icing is the one of the best things I’ve ever had and the butter croissants are perfect! I will be back way too often!!

I don’t think I’ve ever had something I haven’t LOVED. Everything is made from scratch daily including the food. The croissants and perfectly flaky and buttery. The hazelnut cake is fluffy and decadent. I could eat my weight in the raspberry croissants. I am in love with the guava and the beef pastries!

Ahh and the food is also amazing! He makes the sausage from scratch for the breakfast sandwiches. The portobello mushroom sandwich is to die for! Truly you can get anything and will be happy!

Great in-store baked pastries and espresso. A must hit when I'm in town from Seattle. Also a wonderful place for lunch.

This place is the hidden gem of Covington! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from there. Everything is SUPER fresh. Some of my favorites are the quiches (Florentine & they also have a mushroom & leek), all of the breakfast pastries are SO good, lunch is amazing - I’ve had the tuna sandwich and side salad, sweet treats - lemon tarts are so good!, cappuccinos are perfect every time.. do NOT pass this place up if you have a chance to stop in & try something. The fresh baked bread… holy cow! Tried the sourdough and it was gone in 2 days. Also, I saw a few reviews on here complaining about not being helped soon enough or having to wait… please have a little patience sometimes! The world needs more of it! Finding good help is really hard right now & I, for one, completely understand that. However, everyone that’s ever helped me at Tournesol has been attentive, kind, and working as quickly as they can. I love that I have a local place to grab great coffee and delicious breakfast!

Small place BIG flavor. Everything is beautiful. The lemon croissant is a must, buy 2, eat one there and save one for later.

Friendly service, yummy breads! And the cookie was gluten free! Make sure to call first about gluten free. But all over, enjoyable every time!

Everything was sooo delicious, from the croissants, to the brownies, to the lemon tarts, fresh squeezed orange juice, cold brew coffee,🍫 hot chocolate, grilled cheese, eggplant sandwich, brisket and fennel salad, 🥑avocado toast, brie and pear 🍐🍐sandwich... Everything!!! 💕❤🎉🎉🎉🤤

You get more than what you paid for! If you're craving a delicious pastry, sandwich, or dessert this is your place. Drink wise? The watermelon lemonade is amazing. Not too sour, not too sweet, not flavorless - just right! Their savory dishes are just as delicious as the sweet. Perfect brunch spot.

Don't normally leave reviews but... they deserve it. Amazing food, tried 3 kinds of King Cake's -- all phenomenal. My favorite though are the almond croissants, what they do is essentially get regular croissants and bake them with this unique almond batter that makes them SO GOOD, a must try! They work super hard, and one of the workers Ben was very amicable and very friendly :)

Wonderful service. Kahlua cake was amazing. Lemon tart was also very delicious. Carrot cake wasn't my favorite but definitely didn't taste bad. Overall Wonderful bakery and I will definitely try again soon.

This place is truly amazing. The baked goods are so delicious. The almond croissants are a favorite in my family; the flaky, buttery, deliciousness is unparalleled. Their quiches are so creamy and fluffy; the mushroom and leek is my personal recommendation. I will come here at the crack of dawn to get my fresh pastry fix. The owner is very friendly and has a passion for his business.

Just AMAZING!!!!! Precious bake shop! Everything baked with love. You can feel it. We got multiple pastries and really enjoyed how well they were made. Not too sweet like most pastries. Simple, yet elegant! Loved the apple danish and chocolate filled pastry. The bread looked amazing. The workers and owner were both so kind. We will most definitely be coming back!

Everything I tried was great and the staff is friendly. Everything is baked fresh daily. I highly recommend the almond croissant and the cranberry orange muffin. They have a nice variety of beautiful breads. The lemon eclair is unique. For savory flavors, get a sandwich, quiche, or a hand pie. They also offer coffee. There is a generous inside seating area.
