I finally got to try this place for the first time. The food was amazing, and the service was great as well. We got the boudin balls as an appetizer. They were delicious. I had the beef tips and my husband had the soft-shell crab pasta. We both loved our meals.

It's been a long time since I've been here. Place looks great, the food is even better!!! Make it a point to come have some food and cocktails !!!

The BEST place to eat at in Ponchatoula, LA.... HANDS DOWN. The food is fresh and DELICIOUS. The service was TOP NOTCH. Would recommend this place to EVERYBODY. If your in the area, don't pass it up. Make sure you stop. ALWAYS a GREAT EXPERIENCE. See you soon, AGAIN.

First time here and everything was phenomenal. I’ve seen so many good things about them in various Facebook groups and when I decided to go to the area for the trade days I knew I had to come here. I’ll definitely be back when I go to the Antique stores in the future.

3 apps, 2 drinks, 2 entrees and a salad and absolutely everything we tried was delicious! We had way too much food and enjoyed every bit of it. And the leftovers reheated great for lunch today!

Server forgot to put in our drink order any instead of making some excuse she explained what happened and got our drinks expedited. Stuff happens, it's all in how you handle it, and she did a great job!

Live music was enjoyable and not too loud and the fans created the perfect breeze on a warm spring night. A great experience!

This was an amazing experience. Waitress was absolutely amazing, food was delicious, seating was nice, and our waitress refilled our drinks constantly. Reasonable price for service and dinner. Wishing I could go back, but I am a tourist from Georgia.

Our server Brody was super knowledgeable on the menu. Everybody loved everything we had.

The boudin balls were noteworthy, as was the etouffe and red beans.

The cloud cover IPA was delicious too. Good recommendation!

Very good food. I had the spinach dip, Beef Tips and the creme brulee. The spinach dip was pretty average but I still enjoyed it. The beef tips tho were amazing and the creme brulee was top notch! Our service was great as well, Maverick was on point!

We went last night as this was one of the local restaurants we wanted to try at least once while staying at Fireside RV Resort. Arrived just before 6PM on a Tuesday. Wanted to sit outside and glad we did. Their patio is very pleasant and they had live music that wasn't too loud or off key.

Our server was attentive and while she initially forgot to place our drink order... she recognized her mistake, owned it and politely moved on. We really appreciate how she handled the situation... stuff happens, and it's important how you own and move forward.

Our dinner was mostly a mix of their appetizers. The spinach artichoke dip, crispy bacon and duck tenderloin apps were all great! The red beans & rice and zydeco shrimp salad were amazing. The shrimp were huge, properly changed and cooked to perfection.

In summary, high quality ingredients that were very well prepared in a charming Southern style and great service... can't ask for much more!

Valentine’s Day dinner and drinks were delicious. Service was great! We would’ve loved to sit on the patio for entertainment but it was a bit too chilly for my taste. There were outside heaters, so other people were out enjoying it.

This place has a range of dish prices from standard $10 pub fare to $40 a plate fine dining. The food is superb and the customer service is excellent. They do take reservations which is recommended around holidays. But even being holiday time frame we were able to get a spot very quickly with reservation.
The Brandy Alexander utilized fresh made whipped cream and likely freshly grated nutmeg if I tasted it correctly - which tasted absolutely fantastic.

I do enjoy eating here. I don't go as often as I do other places. The prices are reasonable for the food quality and selection. They are a little more on the upscale for price and dining. We still really enjoy the atmosphere, food and service. The patio is by far my favorite. We just found out that they actually try to have a band on the patio Tuesday thru Saturday. The service is usually exceptional and always have a very friendly fun staff.

We had the specials. Appetizer- crawfish cornbread and main course- of surf & turf (6oz filet & grilled shrimp). Both were excellent. Great flavor.

Ok... so I rated it a 5 because they do exactly what you expect them to do. We came in as a party of 6 with a toddler. They quickly ascertained that we did not call in... and offered us the courtyard area table outside, where the band was just getting started... how lucky are we??? The band was a little loud... but great rock and roll. I had the big daddy burger, the two boys had backyard burgers and the toddler devoured his chicken strips. The wife's order got a little tangled, but they fixed it up and her double stuffed crab meat steak filets were perfect. And while she didn't care for the cream spinach, the rest of us thought it was fantastic. Best of all was the fact that they had multiple IPAs on tap including the Ghost In The Machine... which I thoroughly enjoyed. Kirsten did a fantastic job!

Wedding rehearsal dinner for about 15. Minor snag with reservation misplaced, but all the better for their review. They quickly recovered, got us seated, set us with a great wait team led by Christian, and got appetizers out. Drinks and meals were prompt, with a whole menu devoted to Gluten-Free folks - good show! Everything I tried was outstanding, topped off by cheesecake - wow!!

A group of coworkers and I met here today to discuss travel plans for a group trip and the food was delicious, there are several dish selections to choose from and with a great attentive waitress the visit was awesome. Also I would like to add the restaurant is spacious, clean and classy. We will definitely be visiting again!!

Food was great. The waitress was a little slow but she was very nice maybe she was new or nervous but certainly won’t keep us from returning.

Roux and Brew has been one of my fav restaurants for years.
Have held several high school class Get-Togethers here. In town this weekend and chose R&B last night.
Had a new (to me) entree and it was exceptional - Asian Salmon with soy glazed brussel sprouts. The fish was pan seared medium rare and the orange pepper jelly glaze was perfect. Of course, I got my appetizer of Boudin Balls with red onion marmalade and creole ranch. The bartenders did not disappoint either with the Blueberry Bourbon Fizz, Original Mojitos and Salted Caramel White Russian.

So many excellent choices here.

1st timer here! Chose patio seating which featured live music in a quaint setting. Randi was our server; she was very attentive, knowledgeable, suggestive, and her recommendations were all on point! Cocktails were delightfully tasty, appetizers and entrees were phenomenal! We were already making plans to come back before the end of our meal! Our overall experience left us craving more of everything!
