Sawmill Saloon

We came to this Saloon sooo many years ago and it always stuck in my mind that I wanted to come back to it someday in the future again. We just happen to be RVing at the KOA Campground down the street in Hayward and we just happen to drive by it to our surprise forgetting it was in this area. So the next morning we came here for a yummy breakfast, Dawn took great care of us as our server and helpful fishing tips by another lady who worked there. We love the welcoming atmosphere of this place, plus it's so unique and quaint! Come check it out, see for yourself this place is really cool!

Great atmosphere with all the ceiling decorated with old tools, outdoor sporting goods and animal mounts. Very rustic like.
Service was excellent for the having minimal staff. We had some appetizers that were typical bar food and bloody marrys. After stopping in off the local ATV /mountain biking trails. Prices were average.

This is a fun spot for some good food. We love their pizza, the atmosphere is great & everyone is very friendly. Our servers have a great, funny & playful attitude with fun banter back & forth that makes the experience fun & memorable. The leftover pizza always makes a great lunch the next day.

We stopped by the Sawmill for lunch, expecting typical bar food. To our delight, they had a “shore lunch” of perfectly breaded walleye, served with choice of potato and steamed fresh vegetables. Delicious!

Drew recommended a very “approachable lager” from the local Angry Minnow brewery. Also perfect! We left very satisfied. Looking forward to going back.

If you ever have the chance to visit Sawyer County, Wisconsin, make sure to stop by Sawmill Saloon in Seeley. My first time there the temperature outside was -8, but the people were some of the warmest I've met.

The wild rice blueberry pancakes were SO good! Also incredible prices for sizable portions.

The Fish Fry and Pizza win it! Head over on a Friday night for their fish fry and their martini bar, I recommend it.
They pour strong drinks and pump out hot food pretty quickly! There is a pretty big arcade that can be helpful for families dining with children.

Cheese curds, full WI beer selection and our favorite place to go after Pickleball. Big racks… for snowmobile and bike helmets.

Great pit stop when snowmobiling, ATVing, or just coming through town. Free popcorn, friendly service, good drink selection, tasty food.

Absolutely love it. Great live music on Wednesday and Saturday nights - outdoors and made safe with social distancing and masks worn by servers. Same inside. Table service has been modified/suspended to a degree due to the virus. But ordering of food (omg - the prime rib on Saturday nights and the pizza we're out of this world) and drinks can be done at the bar. The proprietor is lovely and lively, as are her team of bartenders and cooks.

We were passing by and decided to stop. The Wednesday brisket sandwich was really good, and hubby did the byob burger. He said the burger was good, but he will definitely come on a Wednesday for the brisket again. Service was good, with no issues, and we had an attentive server.

Great Fried Walleye, fries and coleslaw. Prepared perfectly, tasty, great servicd and decently priced.

Great bar and grill with tons of room and live music! Plenty of parking and full bar with tasty wings.

Our Server was amazing super upbeat and fun. Definitely short staffed but that didn't affect her attitude and made our meal enjoyable. The food was also delicious.

We ordered carry out, and they patiently answered or questions about the menu. Very helpful. It was a unique place; we wish we could have stayed, though we had our dogs with us and our hotel was further on.

If you're in the area, the Sawmill is a must go! A fantastic breakfast spot with great bloody's! Come for the food, stay for the company!

Best pizza ever! The bartender was very personable. Management went above and beyond to accommodate!!! Excellent place. Highly recommend

Came in for a lunch off the UTV and the folks were all very welcoming and had great food. Will be back again! Would have some pictures, except I broke my phone while riding home.
